Thistle Help Thistle Help are mobility specialists based in Irvine and Crosshouse, Ayrshire. Thistle Help are committed to staff training on a continuous basis.

We supply a range of equipment including mobility scooters, wheelchairs, powerchairs, riser recliners, adjustable beds, daily living aids and wide fitting footwear. Thistle Help Ltd was founded in 2007 by George Ruddick and Laura Hays in order to provide a comprehensive range of assisted living aids that truly reflects the needs of those who require support for care and mobility:

Based in Ayrshire, Thistle Help's premises include a spacious showroom with parking outside. Staff regularly attend courses to develop their skills in order to provide an even better service. Courses undertaken include Moving & Handling, Trusted Adviser, Managing Development and numerous sales courses.

On Friday, Siobhan, Donna and Mandy went along to Whiteleys Retreat to help with the change over for families arriving on the Saturday. They enjoyed helping the other volunteers clean, to get the beautiful cottages ready.
Whiteleys Retreat provides free respite breaks and extended support to children, young people and their families with cancer or a life
limiting illness across Scotland.

We are nearly 2 weeks in operating solely from Irvine. We are loving having all the team in one place, welcoming all our lovely customers to our showroom. We have been really busy the last couple of weeks, especially Saturday where it was non stop! Our customers were complimenting our fully stocked showroom which now displays a range of adjustable beds.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way with the changes. We are proud of our team for embracing the changes lately, you have all just got on with it. We can't wait to see what the coming months bring at Thistle Help 💜😁
