An absolutely cracking day yesterday playing tunes and singing songs for Music therapy!

Massive thanks to Cadgwith Cove Inn for hosting and all the musicians who came along including Advance, and Sky and Morris Berenson.

We raised about £450.

An INCREDIBLE £448 raised at Cadgwith Folk Day for music therapy!

Thanks to all the performers, walkers, drinkers, visitors and supporters who came.

A few too many tunes were being played to take many photos, but a glorious day was had on Saturday.

Current total stands at £308 with more to be tallied from the bar and card machine.

So much thanks goes too Will Keating, Richard Trethewey, Keskorra and Pensans Morris, bordering on morris for doing the afternoon spots and the incredible host of musicians who showed up to play and sing way into the night.

This Saturday 15th sees the annual folk day at Cadgwith Cove Inn down on The Lizard - Cornwall.

It’s going to be warm, filled with tunes, songs and wonderful musicians!

During the day we have Will Keating, Richard Trethewey, Keskorra and Morris!

Then as many tunes/songs as we can manage in the evening. All are absolutely welcome!

Quite a few of our team work with people experiencing Dementia all over Cornwall - from hospitals to Care Homes - and so we are acutely aware of the power of music for connection and expression amongst a variety of other benefits.
