Legs up the Wall is my all time favorite pose!
First of all when you do it, it puts you in this dream like state, it’s so yummy.
To get into it is a little awkward, but it’s so worthwhile.
Let your arms fall to the floor, palms up, at about a 45 degree angle. Close your eyes and breathe.
Stay 5, 10, 20 minutes, whatever speaks to you, if you only have one minute, do it for one! You can also do this on the sofa.

What to wear/ bring?

Something that’s not too tight and allows you to move freely. You should ideally do FittFitness Yoga in your bare feet, if you prefer to wear socks they should be non-slip.
Please bring a yoga mat if you have one.

All new participants will be asked to complete a very short health questionnaire. So come 5-10 mins earlier

Will it be too difficult for me?

You are free to go at your own pace and progress with time.
Please always try a class such as FittFitness Yoga for at least 8 weeks so that you can start to see the benefits and the positive changes in your muscle strength and flexibility.
It can actually feel strange at first if you are not familiar with yoga poses, it can feel wrong before it feels right!
FittFitness Yoga has no complicated names or conflicting information.

Will it be too easy for me?
No! There are lots of ways that you can make the postures more challenging.

Is fruit making you fat?‏

"If fruit's one of your 5 a day

How can it be bad for you?"

That was a question I got from a client

who's signed up for my 12 weeks Dance Away Your Inches Silver Program

First up there's no good or bad food

Foods just food

You make a choice every day to what you choose to eat

But when you're trying to have optimal health or shift excess body fat

It's worth considering what you put in your mouth

Fruit is high in sugar, some more than others

So when you're trying to shift stubborn belly fat like Vimmi is

It's best to keep fruit to a minimum

If you are going to eat fruit stick to berries

particularly blueberries and blackberries

These have less sugar content than say a banana or mango

If you're having a fruit smoothie (or juice) for breakfast

You're literally feeding your body sugar to break your fast

And that's just going to add to those carb cravings

that you tend to get mid morning

Here's my Fat Burning Smoothie Recipe

that I'd recommend you have instead

1 huge handful of spinach

around 6 - 8 blueberries

1 scoop of Pea Protein

a pinch of cinnamon

a splash of coconut, rice or almond milk

Throw it all in, add some ice, blend and drink

Breakfast is one of the easiest meals to prepare

Smoothie, eggs, frittata, fish and greens

all take much less time than you think

and won't give you that sugar spike like most breakfast cereals will

The top 3 things many women are doing wrong this time of year

1. Believing the hype;
The everything in moderation hype that is.
Does this sound familiar?
Most women will be on a diet this time of year, I mean November going to December .
So you're desperately will try to slim down for the christmas party season, but also you will be in a little bit of denial as the drinks will be flowing, the chocolates will be opened weeks before they should have been (you had a bad day so you needed them, and you know they're only a fiver a box so you'll just go and buy another tin next week and promise to save that one for christmas!) WRONG.

Well, wrong in that although you CAN still enjoy yourself, all those little extras you're currently kidding yourself about are in fact the things holding you back and keeping you in that madness of lose a few pounds, gain a few pounds. I'm not expecting anyone to be 100% good as gold between now and christmas - we all have a social life and there's endless nights out coming up, but a little planning in advance can go a very long way. Instead try this:

Step 1 - Go and get organised. Go and clear your cupboards, organise your food shopping and plan your week in food so you know you can put 100 % in to this for the next 7 or 14 days.
