I don't ususally work on Saturdays but I'm in this morning to see a few more patients after a busy (and hot!) week.

We are exited to announce Gabbie to the team at Templewood Clinic.

Gabbie is a Sports massage therapist with a keen interest in helping those from sporting and none sporting alike.

Gabbie will be available at the clinic on Wednesday and Fridays, so why not book in a session with her and see how she can help relieve those niggling aches and pains.

Last week, out of nowhere I was diagnosed with a detached retina and ended up having emergency surgery. Having spent 7 days having to lie on my right side 24/7 it felt good to get out for a short walk this morning.

All this means I will be out of action at the clinic for a bit. I've set a date to be back for Tuesday 2nd May. I will be contacting any patients that I haven't contacted already in the next few days.

I am delighted to say that I will be able to continue to see patients during lock down. Osteopaths are classed as essential workers so with PPE and cleaning procedures in place it is business as usual. Please give the clinic a call on 01753 630871 if you need to book in an appointment.

Just finishing my second week back at clinic seeing patients. I think I've pretty much got used to all the PPE and it has been lovely seeing patients again.

Thank you to all patients who have ahered with the new procedures we've had to put in place. I know its a bit different, the new normal for a while I think...

First day back seeing patients today at the clinic. It's a little hot with all this PPE on but great to be seeing patients again. I am allowing longer between patients to let the room air and to be able to clean all surfaces.

Treatment room and reception area has also be decluttered, a job I may have been putting of for a while...

From Tuesday next week (26th May) the clinic will be opening to those in urgent need of osteopathic appointments. Each case will be dealt with on a case by case basis to make sure face to face treatment is appropriate. Please get in touch if you feel you are in need of a treatment.

This is my first post on our page for a while. I apologise for not keeping things more up to date but I'm going to aim to do so from now on.

As all our patients will know we had to close the clinic temporarily in March due to the ongoing coronavirus situation. At present the clinic is still closed for face to face treatment but the phoneline is still active and we are available for telephone and video consultations. Please do not hesitate to call if you are experiencing any pain, need any advice on exercise and self care or just want a bit of catch up.

We expect there to be some change in the situation over the next few weeks and are hopeful that we will be able to open to some degree in the middle of May. We will keep you posted!
