HYPNOTHERAPY
Hypnotherapy is a safe, powerful psychotherapeutic tool which can be used to break the negative cycle of depression and anxiety. It can help with addictions, anger, blood pressure, weight control, lack of confidence, insomnia, IBS, relationship/marital difficulties, migraine, nail biting, nightmares, obsessions, panic attacks, fears, phobias, stress and many more. Hypnotherapy uses the application of hypnotic techniques to bring about therapeutic change and is a very pleasant and relaxing experience. I am a qualified hypnotherapist and psychotherapist, registered with the AfSFH and NCH
The number of sessions needed will vary, for example: treatment of phobias would usually require 3 sessions, treatment of depression or anxiety may require approximately 8 – 10 sessions. To me it feels so important that grief is acknowledged. It’s a big, often overwhelming emotion that can feel scary to share. Often though, as Just Ask Jayne says, a small recognition can be comforting and even healing.

💜 National Grief Awareness Day 💜

Grief can feel overwhelming and isolating. I know how alone it can feel when you’re carrying it quietly, and how much it helps to be able to speak openly about it.

Even small gestures, a conversation, a shared memory, or simply being listened to can make a world of difference.

Today, let’s acknowledge grief, give ourselves permission to feel it, and remind those around us that no one has to face it alone.

I’ve been quiet here for a while. It’s been busy behind the scenes, and when I’m focused on a project and busy in different ways I find it rather overwhelming to think about what to share on social media. I end up sharing nothing!

Here’s what’s been happening-

😊I’ve completed the third of Dr Sarah McKayscourses in applied neuroscience. The Neuroscience Coaching Network is a brilliant collaboration of coaches from all over the planet. We spent the last 12 weeks learning together and then creating new neuroscience based coaching tools. I was delighted to work with Susan Lynch and Leigh Campbell-Wan to create a tool to help people ‘ be better at stress’ . More to follow!

😊I’ve been very busy with one to one clients. We’ve been working on all sorts of things including trauma, fears and phobias, IBS, allergies, grief, anxiety as well as some business coaching and personal growth.

😊family life has been busy. We sadly lost some hens in May, so we only have three now. If you usually catch up via Live from the Hen House - we will be back!

😊I have expanded my WhatsApp Community. This is an invitation-only space where I offer ongoing support and connection to anyone who has connected with me through my work - therapy, retreats or mini retreats. If this is you and you didn’t receive my recent emails inviting you to join, please drop me a DM to request the link x

😊I’ve been growing veggies, doing some great networking, looking after my mum, keeping fit and seeing friends. I’ve been to Albania, donated blood, sung in the woods, celebrated the solstice, walked my dogs, been to the Eden Sessions and swum in the ocean.

😊There are two retreats in the planning for this year. September and November. Both are on my website if you’d like more information. The November one is selling fast. Please book a call if you’d like more information.
