HYPNOTHERAPY
Hypnotherapy is a safe, powerful psychotherapeutic tool which can be used to break the negative cycle of depression and anxiety. It can help with addictions, anger, blood pressure, weight control, lack of confidence, insomnia, IBS, relationship/marital difficulties, migraine, nail biting, nightmares, obsessions, panic attacks, fears, phobias, stress and many more. Hypnotherapy uses the application of hypnotic techniques to bring about therapeutic change and is a very pleasant and relaxing experience. I am a qualified hypnotherapist and psychotherapist, registered with the AfSFH and NCH
The number of sessions needed will vary, for example: treatment of phobias would usually require 3 sessions, treatment of depression or anxiety may require approximately 8 – 10 sessions. As the new month begins, I’d love to (re)introduce myself.
I’m Sally Potter — a solution focused hypnotherapist, retreat facilitator, and the creator of HYPNOURISH: an evidence-based, nature-anchored approach to calming the mind, nourishing the gut, and restoring balance.

For many of the women I work with, this season brings both change and reflection — children leaving home, retirement decisions, bereavement, or simply the quiet recognition that life looks different now.

That’s why I’m so passionate about our upcoming Loss & Grief Retreat (27 Nov – 1 Dec, Devon).

I want to remind you that your mental is YOURS. There’s no one size fits all solution to staying mentally healthy. You have to do what works for you because only YOU know what that is.

There’s so much noise out here in the world. So many buzzwords, trends and overwhelming energy.

You are human - here’s what humans need-

😴Sleep

☀️Time outdoors

🚶‍➡️Movement

👭Others

🍎Good food

🤓Purpose

🤭Fun

Whatever these mean to you, see if you can create a good balance. Move towards more of them step by step, at a pace that is just right for you.

There’s an awful lot going on under the surface

Mushrooms 🍄 are the fruiting bodies of a vast network of mycelium. This network which can be miles long and wide, connects trees 🌳 and other plants, creating communities.

For most of the year, we are unaware of this incredible network, until the mushrooms appear above the ground.

I love the reminder that work is going on even when we can’t see it. That we get nourishment from connecting with others, even though we may not see the results of those connections until much later.

And even if you don’t love my metaphor, maybe you do love the beauty of autumn 🍂 and the mushrooms hidden like treasure all around us.
