Connected Health & Leisure Event – September 26th, 1pm-4pm

Haven Point South Shields

South Tyneside Council Leisure Services are excited to be partnering with the South Tyneside MSK/physio service - Cora Health (formerly called Connect Health) to bring a brand-new exhibition event to Haven Point, South Shields.

We are planning an afternoon of free taster sessions from our Healthy Lives Fitness Classes. Our Healthy Lives Programme is designed to keep people active, to help with pain management, to encourage people to exercise with medical conditions, to build upon low levels of fitness and support both physical and mental health and wellbeing.

We will also offer educational opportunities with health professionals looking at issues like pain management and osteoarthritis, as well as an exhibition space where people can find out more about many of the associated health services across the borough.

📌 Patient Notice 📌

We've had quite a few patients failing to attend appointments lately which is an unnecessary waste when appointments are in so much demand. Please cancel with as much notice as possible so that the appointment can be offered to another patient. The easiest and most convenient way for you to do this is via the NHS App, 24/7, but you can also call us on 0191 3009659 during opening hours.
Please help us to help you by cancelling appointments you cannot attend.
Patients who fail to attend without cancelling more than three appointments in a 12 month period will be removed from our list.

Thanks to all of you who take the time to cancel appointments; this gives us more flexibility in the appointment system for those who need to be seen 🙂
