10th March 2025 the most terrifying day of my life! But to think where I am now is completely unbelievable!

This past year has flew past and I can't wait for what this year brings.

🦶Lets talk Sterilisation.

Here at Happy Feet, your health is paramount. We use the gold standard of cleaning for all instruments used during your appointment.

This consists of a 4 stage cleaning process.

1. Scrubbing instruments in distilled water.
2. Placing instruments in the ultrasonic cleaner.
3. Drying/bagging instruments sets. Bagging instruments in Sterilisation pouches keeps them sterile for up to 6 months. Instruments sterilised open are only sterile for 3 hours.
4. Sterilisation, this takes place in our top of the range Enbio Pro Autoclave on a vacuum cycle essential when using sterilising pouches.

Sharing instruments with others is a major no no, this can transfer a whole host of bacteria and fungi.

Always ensure that anyone caring for your feet and hands provides a sterile set of instruments for individual single use.

This time last year I was geared up to head to Huddersfield to train as a Foot Health Practitioner. Here we are, not even a year in to business and it has surpassed my wildest dreams.
