Reminder that there are utterly selfless kind people in the world. The kindness of strangers struck me last week - I had seen folk around the festival with these bags and decided I NEEDED one as a reminder of my first festival. Last Saturday the most beautiful soul was looking at my jewellery and I was complimenting her bag, I asked which number she got it at and I shared that I had to have one as it was my first time here and I wanted a momento, she showed me on the map where she got it and we got chatting about paying artists the price and not haggling them down (of course we did, because I overshare!) and then we both went on about our day. Not but five minutes later she returned to the hall and presented me with this bag - quickly handing me it with a ‘congratulations on your first festival’ I didn’t know what to do, I hugged her. She left. I cried. And I’ve been thinking about her ever since! Sheer kindness, she took the time to go back to where she had already been, spend her money and gift me something- a complete stranger. My heart is full ❤️ if you my tote bag stranger see this - THANK YOU.
