Since being established in 1985, it has quietly grown to become one of the best care homes in the Yorkshire & Humberside area.

🇬🇧 VE Day Celebrations 🇬🇧
On Friday we celebrated VE Day at Norwood House, we had a lovely sing along and dance to some wartime music, looked at some pictures and did some reminiscing, did some colourful flags and had a lovely afternoon tea with cream scones, Eton mess and other bits 🧁🍓

We took residents out to St Ives today, we enjoyed seeing all the ducks, trees and flowers. What a lovely way to spend the day 🌳🌺

Mexican music, dancing and food today to celebrate Cinco de Mayo 🇲🇽

This morning we had a lovely visit from Onslow and Chewbacca. The residents loved talking to them and giving them pets, it was lovely to see the smiles on there faces and the interactions they where having together.

We had a lot of birthdays in Apriland we loved celebrating with each of the residents on their special day. 🎂🥳🎈

On Wednesday for international dance day we turned up the music and had a dance and sing a long to some old classics.

Yesterday and today was all about time in the garden 🦋 we had walks in the garden, admiring all the flowers and the views, and then today we did lots of gardening, planting some summer bedding, which hopefully will bring flowers to our patio all summer long 🌺🌸🌼

We are so lucky to have Cliffe Castle just around the corner 🌸😍

We have made the most of the sunshine the past couple of days by enjoying some walks around Cliffe Castle, looking at the garden, especially the cherry blossom, and enjoying a drink and ice cream in the cafe 🌸☕

Today’s the residents have been doing some flower arranging, looking at garden magazines and enjoying the flowers that are blooming in the garden.

🌼🌺 Spring Fun Day 🌺🌼

A big thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday. It was a lovely afternoon filled with amazing music by Molly Imogen, which got everyone dancing, delicious food from our Chef and some fun outdoor games 🎳
