You can find peace in the closest places.

I’ve been quiet recently and there is great reason for it. For those that know me, they know that I’m outgoing, I’m passionate and I’m driven by love, peace, happiness, seeing people smile and laugh. It truly gives me a sense of purpose, and aren’t we all trying to find our souls purpose in a minefield or stress, worries, every day life?

So I decided to retreat, and in that I recognised that I needed to redefine my purpose. What does it look like? Who am I becoming and who do I want to be?

Truth has it, I want to help so many people. I want them to be free from pain, I want them to be happy and live a peaceful and blissful life, but with the good comes the bad and we must accept that. It’s called balance, it’s Yin & Yang, it’s beautiful.

So in my hermit stage I’ve dove deep to understand what this looks like for me… I’ve decluttered my whole home, my car, my mind and my life in August. September for me is about creating new habits and becoming disciplined with myself. So I’ve started to walk EVERY day, I make all my meals fresh from the the bread I eat to the sauces I use to cook with. I’ve been training in new skills that align with where I want to be (soon to be offered to others 🤩), I’ve stepped away from so much that does not serve me or align with my values and I’m saying yes to everything that does!

So I ask you this. Are you truly happy? With everything in your life, and I mean absolutely everything?

A moment in history for me!

So anyone that knows me knows that I struggle to sit and just relax… or sit and read a book! But I’ve always wanted to be that person who can indulge themselves deeply into a book without any interruptions or any brain bursts that take your mind off what you’re reading.

And I’ve finally found the book that has given me that space to relax and unwind deeply into words… and it’s called “Breath”

Recommended by a client of mine who knows what I’m working on behind the scenes! This book is incredible, it talks about studies about breath all participated in by the writer of the book. About how he struggled with respiratory problems throughout his life and how the way that we breathe is a bigger issue than we think and how breathwork can truly benefit us human beings!

The climb is real.
Not a metaphor.
Not a pretty quote.

It’s the early mornings when your chest feels tight and your mind won’t shut up.

It’s holding it together for everyone else when you feel like falling apart.

It’s pushing through the noise of doubt, fear, and "I'm not good enough."

It’s real. It’s hard. And you’re doing it anyway.

But here’s what most people won’t say:

You’re not weak for feeling tired.
You’re not broken for needing help.
And you sure as hell don’t have to climb alone.

This is your reminder:
✨ You're allowed to pause.
✨ You’re allowed to breathe.

I am not nice but I am kind! And here’s why 👇

Let’s just imagine for a moment, that you’ve come to me for advise, maybe you show up with an idea or a question… and I give you the answer that you wanted to hear to be nice (but it’s not the truth). In that moment you are going to feel incredible, that idea, that answer, it was perfect and you’re going to leave feeling so happy… but you’re not going to grow and long term you’re not going to be happy when you realise that the idea you had or the answer you got didn’t go as planned.

I am not nice but I am a KIND!

Being kind is a whole different kettle of fish … I am kind because I am going to always be honest with you, I’ll tell you if I believe that idea doesn’t work or it needs to be bigger, I’m going to share a different perspective or give more expansive ideas that may even be out of your comfort zone but not out of your limitations, because you are limitless! I’m not going to give you the answer you was hoping for, I’m going to tell you the truth.

Now in that very moment you may leave feeling disconnected, feeling low and unsure of what to do or how to deal with the answer you got. But I promise you this, being kind will help you grow in the long run! It will help you see the possibilities of viewing from a different perspective, it will open you up to bigger things and teach you to think bigger, brighter and bolder. It will bring long term happiness!

So if you can be anything… be kind, not nice! Because being nice doesn’t help people grow, kindness does 🫶

I’m very lucky to have a bunch of kind people around me. Those are the people that you want around you because those people truly want to see you grow 🥰✨
