We’re pleased to announce that both NHS and private flu & COVID-19 vaccines will be available right here at Oxenhope Pharmacy.
✅ NHS COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility
Adults 75+
Anyone 12+ who is immunocompromised
✅ NHS Flu Vaccine Eligibility
Adults 65+
Adults 18+ in a clinical high-risk group (asthma, heart disease, diabetes, etc.)
Carers
Immunocompromised individuals & close contacts
Pregnant women
Frontline health & social care workers (clinical & non-clinical)
⚠️ Eligibility rules are set by NHS England – you must meet the criteria to receive a free NHS vaccine.
👉 Not eligible? Don’t worry! We also offer private flu & COVID-19 vaccinations – just ask in-store or email us for details.

COVID-19 and Flu Vaccinations – Available from 1st October 2025 at Oxenhope Pharmacy

We are pleased to announce that our NHS and private vaccination services for COVID-19 and flu will begin on Wednesday 1st October 2025 at Oxenhope Pharmacy.

NHS COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility

• Adults 75 years and over
• People aged 12 years and over who are immunocompromised

NHS Flu Vaccine Eligibility

• Adults 65 years and over
• Adults 18 years and over in a clinical high-risk group (e.g. asthma, heart disease, diabetes, etc.)
• Carers
• Immunocompromised individuals
• Close contacts of immunocompromised individuals
• Pregnant women
• Frontline health and social care workers (both clinical and non-clinical)

⚠️ These eligibility criteria are set by NHS England. Patients must meet the requirements to receive a free NHS vaccination.

If you are not eligible, we also provide PRIVATE flu and COVID-19 vaccinations. Please enquire at the pharmacy or contact us via email for details.

Consent forms for flu vaccinations must be completed before receiving the vaccine.

Oxenhope Pharmacy is looking for enthusiastic admin staff to support our pharmacy team and nurses during the busy COVID-19 and Flu vaccination season.

Role responsibilities include:

• Accurately recording vaccination details onto patient records (using iPad or laptop)
• Managing patient flow within the pharmacy
• Assisting the team with general admin tasks as needed

Skills & qualities we’re looking for:

• Confident in using iPads, laptops or computers
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills
• Friendly, approachable, and professional manner
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Respectful of patient confidentiality

What we offer:

• Full training provided
• Supportive team environment
• Opportunity to gain valuable work experience and transferable life skills

Ideal for: Individuals aged 17+ seeking short-term experience in a healthcare setting.

Details:

• Duration: 1–2 months (depending on workload)
