This World Pharmacists' Day, we want to thank our for all the work they have been doing to support their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic

Pharmacy is an essential service we can all rely on.
Whilst many people were locked down or restricted during the pandemic, pharmacies continued dispensing & selling safe medicinal products in addition to offering much needed advice, putting themselves in the frontline to meet other people’s needs.

On this joyous occasion of Eid al-Fitr, may this, despite the difficulties of outward circumstances, be a time of unity, of spiritual embrace amongst people.

We join Muslims around the world to mark the end of Ramadan in the midst of a global pandemic. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who lost loved ones during this period. A special mention must go to all the key workers who have been working tirelessly while fasting. So as our Muslim friends mark this special day at home, it’s an opportunity for all of us to recognise the contributions they have made - and continue to make - to our community. We wish everyone a day of peace and a future of hope.

Hello Everyone

Hope everyone is well and safe.

Just to let you know that NHS England has again made it mandatory, like the Easter period, for pharmacies to open on the Bank Holiday “Friday” (tomorrow) between 2pm-5pm. The GP surgeries, again, will be open as normal to help out the other NHS services.

Olive Pharmacy at Highfield will be open these core hours whereas the Broomhill branch will open these hours as well as the optional late night hours to cater for that particular need. (The additional hours at Broomhill are voluntary and at no cost whatsoever to the NHS).

Friday 8th May: 2pm-5pm

Olive Pharmacy, 7 Broomhill Avenue, Keighley, BD21 1ND. Tel: 01535 603529:

Friday 8th May: 2pm-10pm

There will also be a limited delivery service for the GP needs only.

Enjoy the Victory in Europe (VE) Bank Holiday Weekend, but stay home and stay safe. And venture out for the essentials such as Pharmacy or Supermarket use only.

Hi Folks.

Hope everyone is well and staying safe.

Just to let you know that NHS England has made it mandatory for pharmacies to open 2pm-5pm on Good Friday (Today) and Easter Monday. This is due to the Department of Health “Un-Banking” the Bank Holidays and making sure the GP surgeries remain open, hence putting less pressure on the other NHS services.

Olive Pharmacy at Highfield will be open these core hours whereas the Broomhill branch will open these hours as well as the optional late night hours to cater for that particular need, and also being open on Easter Sunday.
