Kenna Johnston has been shortlisted for Carer of the Year and we couldn’t be prouder.

A care assistant at Glenisla in Keith, Kenna brings music into everyday life in the home, playing and singing with residents to create moments of real connection and joy. She says: “I’m delighted that it’s bringing people joy.”

Weston View manager Leanne Stephen has been shortlisted for Healthcare Hero of the Year and we couldn’t be prouder.

Leanne was recognised for the compassion and support she showed to a family during one of the most difficult times in their lives, while she was manager at Wakefield House in Cullen.

Leanne said she was “shocked and privileged” to be nominated. We think it’s richly deserved.

We are looking for some donations at Weston View Care Home so we can raise funds for our residents’ comfort fund. Our comfort fund allows us to continue booking entertainment in house for the residents.

Ideally we are after bottles and other items suitable for raffles and hampers.

If you can help, please drop items off at the office or send us a message and we would be more than happy to collect.

Exciting news for Keith! 🎉

Waddle Toddle is coming to Weston View care home from 13 April 🌿

Run by local charity Earthtime these fun, 45-minute outdoor sessions are perfect for children aged 6 months to 5 years. Expect a mix of play, stories, songs and nature-based activities – all while connecting with other families and spending time with our residents.

The sessions will run every Monday from 10:30–11:15am for an initial six-week pilot, and they’re free to attend (donations welcome).
