We are incredibly proud that Glenisla has been recognised in a Motion tabled in the Scottish Parliament by Laura Mitchell, MSP for Moray.

The Motion congratulates the team on being named finalists in the ‘Above and Beyond’ category at the Stars of Social Care Awards and recognises the dedication, compassion and professionalism shown by colleagues every day.

In one of her first acts as a new Parliamentarian, Laura chose to highlight the difference the Glenisla team makes to residents’ lives and the wider community.

⚽ Scotland’s return to the World Cup has sparked plenty of football memories across our care homes.

Residents from Parklands homes in Cullen, Keith, Aberlour, Fortrose and Inverness have been sharing their favourite matches, players and hopes for Steve Clarke’s squad in a new video celebrating Scotland’s return to football’s biggest stage after 28 years. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Oh, and someone mentions 1966. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Sorry! 😄

We’re delighted that Glenisla has been shortlisted for the Above and Beyond Award at the national Stars of Social Care Awards ⭐

The nomination recognises the care, compassion and teamwork shown by our staff every day, including the success of the home’s recent Nutrition and Hydration Week activities.

Manager Brenda Harper said: “I am extremely proud of the Glenisla team for this nomination. This recognition truly belongs to the entire Glenisla team, who consistently go above and beyond for our residents and for one another.”
