📚Our Community Champion Fiona was delighted to hand over £141 from our Community Bookstand in March to Glenisla Residents Fund today.

📚This month’s donations for the second hand books in our stand will go to Westonview Residents fund nominated by one of our colleagues.

This morning it was down to the soup and sweet for a affa fine soup and dessert 🍰then this afternoon we had the wonderful Portsoy 75 choir in to entertain us this afternoon 🎵 We had a lovely afternoon singing along and a wee boogie 🕺🤍

We’ve had a busy Easter weekend from making bonnets, Easter bingo and an Easter egg hunt to Easter games and a spot of Easter baking. And of course some lovely pieces🤍
We had a lovely fun filled packed weekend celebrating! And we also hope everyone had a lovely Easter as well! 🐣

WOW what a successful morning we had yesterday🫶🏽

We would like to say big thank you to each & every one of you for coming along to join us supporting towards our residents comfort fund, it really is appreciated & does not go unrecognised!🫶🏽

We raised a total of £1,000🥰✨

Our comfort fund ables residents to maintain their much-loved routines & hobbies by participating in activities such as bus outings, live in house entertainment, gardening, baking & much more. Filling each day with purpose to improve their overall well-being.

We still have a few lucky squares left for our Glen-grant 18 year old whisky, strawberry & easter hamper… £2.50 a square or 3 for £5. This will be available to purchase at Glenisla☺️

We had a lovely morning with a run to Elgin and a wee fly cup ☕️
Then this afternoon we made some Easter bonnets 🐣 🌼 how wonderful do the bonnets look! 🤍

Kenna Johnston has been shortlisted for Carer of the Year and we couldn’t be prouder.

A care assistant at Glenisla in Keith, Kenna brings music into everyday life in the home, playing and singing with residents to create moments of real connection and joy. She says: “I’m delighted that it’s bringing people joy.”

Weston View manager Leanne Stephen has been shortlisted for Healthcare Hero of the Year and we couldn’t be prouder.

Leanne was recognised for the compassion and support she showed to a family during one of the most difficult times in their lives, while she was manager at Wakefield House in Cullen.

Leanne said she was “shocked and privileged” to be nominated. We think it’s richly deserved.
