🎃 Spooky Season Starts Early at The Poppy Club! 👻

Here’s our brilliant Activities Coordinator Rachel modelling our brand-new Poppy Club uniform—huge thanks to Bee Ink Designs for bringing our vision to life with such care and creativity! 🌺

We’ve kicked off Halloween celebrations early this year, and our craft table has been buzzing with ghostly cutouts, pumpkins, and plenty of “BOO!” as we decorate our seasonal tree. It’s all part of the fun-filled days we offer at The Poppy Club—where creativity, laughter, and community come together.

Today, on Roald Dahl Story Day, we’re reminded of the power of stories to inspire kindness, resilience, and a little bit of magic — values that lie at the heart of health and social care.

From Matilda’s quiet strength to the BFG’s gentle wisdom, Dahl’s characters teach us that compassion and courage can change lives. At ECS, we see this every day, in the care our team provides, and the joy we bring to those we support.

💛 Just like Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity, which funds specialist nurses for seriously ill children, we believe in person-centred care that uplifts and empowers.
