🚜 Applications are now open for the Next Generation Practical Training Fund from Lantra Scotland, in partnership with The Scottish Government.
With £300,000 available this year, new entrants to agriculture can apply for up to £500 of fully funded training per course to build practical skills and support the future rural workforce.
Training opportunities include:
🌱 Tackling climate change
🦌 Protecting wildlife and habitats
⚠️ Workplace safety
🚜 Equipment and machinery skills
📊 Farm business and financial management
Funding may also be available for courses over £500 where clear value can be demonstrated.
Henry Graham, Chair of the Farming Opportunities for New Entrants (FONE) group, said:
