Composite filling by Dental Therapist Michelle Paxton. 🦷

Michelle used rubber dam (blue sheet) to isolate the tooth making a safe working environment and also allowing us to keep the tooth nice and dry during the precise bonding process.

Once the decay was removed, Michelle restored the tooth with a composite resin (white) filling.

Result: Decay free, colour matched, shaped and polished to perfection. 🦷💙

Before & After: Strengthening a Weakened Tooth with a Onlay 🦷💪

This tooth had an old amalgam filling that caused cracks and weakening over time. To protect it and prevent further damage, we placed a custom made composite dental onlay.

An onlay fits over the tooth like a puzzle piece—reinforcing the structure, sealing out bacteria, and helping avoid the need for a crown or root canal down the line.

Now the tooth is strong, stable, and ready to last for years to come! 🦋
