checking rotas 📆
instead of crying 😢
and showing up despite the lingering ache 💔Because in professional care, there's no funeral for grief... just the next visit.

It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since Teresa passed. As her carers, we had the honour of spending time with her in the day-to-day — and in that time, she became so much more than a client. She became someone we truly cared about.

Teresa had a quiet strength, a gentle fighting spirit, and a sense of humour that would shine through even on the harder days. She showed us wisdom, and warmth that I still carry with me. Our time together may have been part of our work, but for us all, it was personal — it was meaningful.

We still think of her often, and smile at the little things that remind us of her. Teresa left a lasting mark, and she is deeply missed.

Rest peacefully, Teresa. You are remembered with love and gratitude. 🤍
