Today we had in with their Winter and New Years selection of clothing. James and his partner were yet again an amazing team offering our residents a great array of different clothing designs and they were so friendly and inclusive. A lovely atmosphere and in house shopping experience. ❤️🛒🍾x

This afternoon with Rob, Nicola and Patrick we took residents from all floors to Wray Castle and the National Trust to join their first event for people living with dementia. We joined Seonag - The Volunteering and Community Officer and Ruth - The Head Gardener at Wray Castle. They took us for a nice relaxed stroll around some of the fantastic trees on the grounds telling us all about them, and then treated us all to hot drinks and cakes. An amazing afternoon for us all, and we hope to join their next event with more residents. ❤️🌲🌳

This morning our local knitter friend Christine Whiteley brought us some beautiful knitted pumpkins filled with chocolates for our residents to enjoy, listening to Daniel O'Donnell before we start our craft session on Nightingale. 🎃❤️🎶x

Today we have enjoyed two trips out, first to Sizgher Barn, second to Sizgher Castle cafe. Both cafes run by the National Trust, in beautiful natural surroundings where we have enjoyed the scenery, hot drinks, food and cakes. The residents have enjoyed getting out, we will soon have our own minibus on site and we can get more people out to tour our local areas. ❤️🫖☕️🎂x

Yesterday on Nightingale we did some Halloween shredded chocolate treats with the residents. We had spooky Halloween music playing as we chatted and had a few laughs making the treats together with everyone helping. 👨‍🍳🎃👻❤️x

This afternoon we have enjoyed the company of Rachel Mercer - Wedding and Events Singer performing live and getting the residents active. Lots of songs for us to sing along to, dance and have a fun time together. Everyone got involved and Rachel interacted well with us all, creating a nice atmosphere and lots of smiles. ❤️🎶🎤x
