🦋 NOURISH YOUR SOUL 🦋

Join me on the afternoon of October's Full Moon for a restorative, nourishing, in-person mini-retreat just outside Kendal.

You will experience a truly immersive afternoon, a chance to withdraw from the world for a bit to focus on nourishing your body, mind + soul

This mini-retreat is an opportunity to experience a deeper yoga practice and longer relaxation than in a regular class

We will also use essential oils, meditate, practice breathwork and dance as we connect, release and refocus ourselves

And, as the day sits at the transition into a new season, we will do some deep journaling to help us align with nature's rhythms and prepare to embrace a shift in energy as we move slowly towards winter

Numbers are limited to ensure intimacy and connection

I am writing a book about neurodiversity + music

It's drenched in 80s nostalgia and is a love song to music and the way it shapes a childhood

It also has tons of practical information on Autism too, as well as busting some myths which still prevail around ASC.

I delve deeply into the concept of masking and how this skill is a huge barrier to girls getting a diagnosis

I am seeking a heart-centred agent to work with, so putting it out into the universe (as well as submitting through agencies too. I'm not a complete woo-woo hippie 😂)

In the spirit of cleansing my life I have decided to remove myself from Facebook

(I am also going through my YouTube and podcast subscriptions and paring everything right back to the richest, most nourishing accounts that I really need in my life and I can tell you it already feels really good)

This feels like a long overdue task for me. Holding so many social media and online accounts in my head is 🤯🤯🤯

There are no short cuts

To arrive in a Downward Dog that feels nourishing, easeful, expansive, energising + grounding takes time

It's not about what the pose looks like and everything about how it feels

It takes dedication + consistent practice to create the conditions for you to be able to slide into ease in your down dog

To acclimatise to cold water also takes consistent exposure. There is no way round this. No short cuts

To get the greatest benefits you much give the greatest attention, time + energy

Allowing your practices to become daily rituals, prioritising them + embracing small step by step progress - this is the way to solid resources + deep anchors

Devotion Practice Mindfulness

The only way is through

Don't give up

The expansive clarity + joy awaiting you is worth everything

Enjoy every moment of the process too, obviously

But never lose sight of the transformation which is truly possible

It's easy to let your reading time slip, accidentally allowing it to get squeezed out by all the demands and busyness

Like anything it's a habit + creating healthy habits is just ace!

Reading not scrolling is my current motto. Curling up + getting lost in exciting words + worlds is infinitely better than doom scrolling + comparison

Choosing what we feed our minds with is as important as what we feed our bodies
