REFLEXOLOGY
1 HOUR £40
A holistic treatment used by working the pressure points of the feet. By working the reflex points you are actually treating the whole body, balancing out the body's systems and freeing blocked energy channels, thus creating a state of harmony, balance and well-being. The popularity of Reflexology has never been greater than today, as more and more people realise the benefits it can bring in our modern day, busy, stressful lives. As a practitioner of Reflexology, I will individually tailor your treatment to suit your needs and your aims. Reflexology can help you to relax, relieve stress, alleviate pain, improve circulation, boost the immune system, and create a stronger body and calmer mind. Reflexology is a safe, natural therapy, using gentle pressure on the feet or hands to stimulate the body's own healing processes. Reflexology as we know it today was developed in the early part of the 20th century, when, physicians
noted that pressure on certain sensory nerves in the body could produce pain relief in another region of the body. This led to the eventual development of the feet and hand maps reflexologists use today. The theory underlying reflexology is that the organs, nerves, glands and other parts of the body are
connected to reflex areas or reflex points on the feet and hands. The technique the reflexologist uses, is a gentle pressure on these points to bring about a state of deep relaxation, and to stimulate the body’s own healing processes. It’s a natural therapy that can also facilitate more vital energy, help boost the immune system, and create a stronger body and calmer mind. Whilst reflexology works very well alongside conventional medicine, it should never be used in place of seeking medical advice. Reflexology does not treat or diagnose any specific medical disorder. Before your first session, and prior to any treatment, an initial discussion will be conducted regarding
your medical history, lifestyle and how you are currently feeling. Your first session will last
approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Subsequent sessions will usually last 1 hour. You will then enjoy a gentle, relaxing foot massage, followed by the full reflexology routine (specific
reflexes will be targeted more than others if there is a particular problem we are aiming to treat),
then the closing, soothing, massage to finish. if you would like to book a reflexology treatment please contact me via facebook or email me... :-) f
