๐ฑ Mental Health Awareness Week ๐ฑ
So much of what I offer exists because, at different points in my own life, these things helped me too. Not as quick fixes or magical cures, but as anchors. Things that brought me back to myself when life felt loud, heavy or overwhelming.
Movement. Nature. Warmth. Rest. Community. Quiet. Conversation. Breath.
I think as a society weโre still not very good at seeing these kinds of practices as preventative care. We often view them as a โtreatโ, a luxury or a reward once weโve pushed ourselves to exhaustionโฆ rather than something woven into everyday life that helps keep us well in the first place.
Not a sticking plaster once weโre already at breaking point but small, regular acts of care that help keep us afloat.
A gentle reminder this week to make time for yourself before you desperately need to. Not just once in a while. Regularly. As a priority, not an afterthought.
And if mental health is something you struggle with, please reach out.
To a friend. A professional. A community.
You donโt have to carry it alone ๐
