Body and Soul Touch Massage

Body and Soul Touch Massage I am Berci a holistic massage therapist with different techniques and a massage teacher. She also welcomes female clients for individual treatments.

Together with my partner, we offer Lomi Lomi massage as a duo, including four-hand and couples sessions. I am Bertalan Fodor, a dedicated and qualified Massage Therapist with ten years of experience in Swedish massage, reflexology, and other various techniques. I am also trained in a very special and amazing Polinezian Healing Technique, which is called Lomi Lomi Healing Massage. I have incorpor

ated my experience with energy healing into my bodywork to deepen healing treatment and act on more subtle levels. In doing so, my clients experience my ability to reach beyond the physical body, space where more profound and more long-lasting healing can take place. My massage works on different energy levels which can help you to find a balance, so mind and body can be in deep relaxation. Every session is unique as I adapt each one to the body and condition of the client. During my holistic treatments, I help to create physical and mental harmony by combining the techniques I have learned. Massage is such a miraculous way of touching others’ lives. I realize what the human body is, and how necessary it is to accept what it is saying to us. I consider myself gifted and fortunate to be able to support and assist people on their life journey towards health, blissfulness, and be more aware of oneselves. Every massage is a prayer as the human body is a temple, and I treat it with honour and love. Bringing feelings into the body is essential. The body is a micro-cosmos in itself, and its capacities to balance and heal itself are beyond comprehension. If I aroused your interest then choose one of my special treatments that shows the direction of your current treatment needs, or come and work together to create a unique program for you as the present situation requires.

A young seeker once journeyed to visit a famously silent master — a master said to know the answer to every question… except the ones no one ever asks.

The seeker presented the usual questions:
– What is the meaning of life?
– How can I find myself?
– What is the secret of enlightenment?
– How can I be free from suffering?

The master nodded politely, poured some tea… and said nothing.

The seeker waited patiently.
Then less patiently.
Finally, in frustration, he burst out:
“Why won’t you answer? These are important questions!”

The master smiled, took a sip of tea, and said:
“You have left out the most important questions.”

“Which ones?” asked the seeker.

“The ones no one ever asks,” the master replied.
“The first: Who is the one asking?
The second: Why is an answer needed at all?”

The seeker sat there, mouth open.
He wanted to ask something… but suddenly, there was nothing to ask.

The master nodded gently and poured another cup of tea.

✨ Reflection

Behind every answer, two questions quietly remain:
Who is asking?
And why is what already is… not enough?

🌀 Practical koan for your day

Right now, you may have questions.

But who is asking them?
And what would happen… if, just for a moment, you stopped looking for an answer?

🌸 Discover Magnolia: Spring’s Gentle Gift 🌸

Spring is here… and nature is quietly offering her medicine 🌿

Spring brings new life, and with it, the delicate, fragrant blooms of magnolia. Beyond their stunning beauty, magnolia petals and leaves are edible — a wonderful gift of the season. Drinking magnolia tea is a simple way to invite calm, support digestion, and reconnect with the gentle rhythms of nature.

Why magnolia?
Calming and soothing: helps relax the mind and ease tension
Supports digestion: gentle on the stomach, can help with mild digestive discomfort
Respiratory support: traditionally used for gentle breathing support
Delightful flavor: floral, lightly sweet, and aromatic — perfect for mindful sipping

A simple Magnolia Spring Tea 🍵
- Pick fresh, or dried edible magnolia petals (ensure you use a safe variety).
- Add a few young leaves for a milder, green note, if they are out already after the flowers
- If you wish, combine with a few young nettle leaves and/or a few dandelion flowers, leaves for a spring tonic.
- Pour hot water (not boiling) over the herbs. Steep 5–7 minutes.
- Optional: add a slice of lemon, or a few drops of lemon juice, maybe a little touch of honey.
- Sip slowly, and enjoy the taste of Spring.
- Notice the aroma, taste, and how your body responds, welcomes this delightful, delicious and nourishing drink.

This tea isn’t just delicious — it’s a way to pause, restore balance, and connect with the season. Drinking it mindfully can feel like a mini ceremony in your own kitchen or garden..

Spring is full of gifts like this — magnolia, nettle, dandelion, wild garlic, and fresh greens — each supporting our body in different ways.

🤍 Curious to try it? Please, let me know what you think/feel about it.

If you feel called to deepen this experience, you are always welcome to join me for a tea ceremony or a nurturing massage — spaces where we pause, reconnect with our senses and allow the body to restore themselves naturally.

Aloha dear friends

Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming a lovely young couple for a couples massage. They live in Manchester, though originally from Hong Kong. As I sat with this afterwards, I felt a deep sense of warmth and wonder — how beautiful it is that two Hungarian therapists, here in England, can share Hawaiian massage with an Asian couple.
Just last week, a kind Nigerian couple visited us from Liverpool.

Moments like these gently remind me how special this work truly is. Through touch, presence, and genuine care, something deeper connects us — beyond culture, language, or where we come from. Massage is universal. And Lomi Lomi, rooted in the Hawaiian philosophy of love, harmony, and unity, speaks directly to the heart.

In our treatments, there is space to pause…
To set down the weight we carry.
To slow down from the rush of everyday life.
To soften our stories, even if just for a little while — and simply rest in the quiet joy and peace of presence.

And sometimes, in this loving space, something even deeper can unfold…
Heavy layers held for years — even generations — can begin to gently dissolve.

Because beneath it all, we are simply human.
Longing for connection, for acceptance, for presence.

A couples massage is a truly beautiful shared experience.
A space where partners, family members can journey through this together — feeling the joy of connection, the harmony of being side by side, while also turning inward. Each person can reconnect with their own inner stillness and peace — the very foundation of any healthy, meaningful connection.

If you feel called to experience a couples Hawaiian massage with us, or any of our treatments — perhaps even a Chinese tea ceremony — you are warmly welcome to reach out in a private message for more information or to book.
With love and gratitude 🙏

Negative Thoughts — And the Space Around Them

We all have negative thoughts.
Fear, self-doubt, harsh self-criticism, anger we replay long after the moment has passed, old stories about not being enough…

The problem is not that these thoughts appear.
The problem is how quickly we believe them.

In yoga philosophy, Patanjali describes the movements of the mind as vrittis - fluctuations. Thoughts are not solid truths. They are movements. Waves. Temporary formations.

The practice is not about stopping the waves.
It is about recognizing that we are not the wave.

Modern psychology says something similar. Cognitive reframing is not about forcing positivity. It begins with one simple shift: “This is a thought, not a fact.” That small sentence creates distance. And in that distance, choice becomes possible.

Buddha spoke about the mind in a very direct way. He taught that suffering deepens when we cling to thoughts or resist them. Through mindfulness, we learn to observe a thought simply as a thought — arising, existing for a moment, and passing away. Not something to grasp. Not something to fight. Just a mental event moving through awareness. When we see clearly that thoughts are impermanent, their power softens. What once felt solid becomes fluid.

Huna philosophy from Hawaii adds another layer: the world is what you think it is. Not as a simplistic affirmation, but as a reminder — perception shapes experience. Where attention goes, energy follows. What we keep rehearsing internally becomes the lens through which we see.

Across traditions, the message is consistent:

A thought is an event. Not an identity.

Thoughts are like clouds crossing the sky. Some are light and barely visible. Some feel dark and heavy. But the sky itself remains untouched.

And maybe the answer is not to “let go” of negative thoughts, as if we had to push them away.

Maybe it is to allow them.

To notice:
“There is fear.”
“There is self-judgment.”
“There is anger.”

When we stop fighting a thought, it often softens on its own.

Like in family constellations — every member has a place in the system, even the one who carries shame or feels unwanted. When something is excluded, it becomes louder. When it is acknowledged, it relaxes.

Negative thoughts often point toward something unresolved — an old wound, a protective strategy, a memory stored in the nervous system. If we meet them with curiosity instead of resistance, they lose their sharp edges.

Yoga — beyond the physical postures — offers a rich toolkit for this. Breath awareness, meditation, self-inquiry, ethical alignment. The asanas are important, yes. But yoga is much wider than movement. It is a way of relating to the mind.

When the body slows down and relaxes, the mind follows.

Sometimes this happens very simply.
In quiet moments where breathing becomes steady.
In the deliberate rhythm of preparing and sharing tea.
In the warmth of touch when muscles begin to soften and the nervous system remembers safety.
ou can almost feel the shift — the story that felt urgent a moment ago loosens its grip.
The inner dialogue fades into the background.

When we pause for only a few moments, something very special is happening. We feel we arrived home -we've never left this "place", but maybe never felt before- You are home. In your body, in your life, in this moment.

And in that grounded presence, thoughts — both “positive” and “negative” — move more freely.

They come. They pass.

Like wind through tall grass. Like clouds changing shape.

During a massage, when the body begins to feel safe, the mind quiets without effort.

In a tea ceremony, when we slow down enough to truly taste and just breathe consciously… when we slow down enough to feel the simple act of holding a cup. Sensation interrupts mental repetition, the inner narrative softens.

Nothing is forced.
Nothing is suppressed.
The system simply shifts.

And this shift does not belong to one method.

Yoga -on the mat and far beyond.
Qi Gong.
Meditation.
Breathwork.
Walking in nature as the days grow lighter.
Natural therapies.
Rituals.
Conscious Touch…

All of them can help to create more space.

And in that space, what once felt heavy can become integrated.
What felt harsh can become understood.
What felt negative can transform into guidance.
The focus is not on becoming endlessly positive.
It is on becoming more loving with what arises.

There are many doors you can walk through. The secret is you don’t need to go anywhere. You are here already and it is only now, when you can recognise this.

There is always time to pause for a moment and just be as you are. Without rating or judging. Just witnessing…

If you often feel lost in the density of your own thoughts,
and sense that you need a little more space… a little more peace… and you still don’t know how to do it… you know how to reach me.

I won’t solve your problems. I can share how I meet my own.
And perhaps, in that shared, safe space, you may find inspiration for how to gently untangle yours.

And it may even happen that, for a moment, you realize they were never problems to begin with - only signposts guiding you back home. Back to yourself. Back to Wholeness.

And if you feel like sharing -how do you return to your center when your thoughts become loud?
I’d love to hear what helps you find your ground.

Many blessings and much love, Berci

Old patterns, wounds, and long-held pain can quietly live in the body.
In the gentle embrace of Lomi Lomi Massage these places are invited to soften, to be held, and to slowly release.
Healing doesn’t have to be forced — sometimes it unfolds naturally, through loving touch, presence, and care. 🌿

Which part of you is asking for a little extra tenderness right now?
Is there a place within you still waiting to be gently received?

We still have a few available spaces this month. Couple massages and four-hands Lomi Lomi are offered at a special price until January.

If your heart feels a quiet yes, allow yourself to return to wholeness.
Send us a private message for details or to book your session — we would love to welcome you. 🙏

Touch becomes presence.
Movement becomes prayer.

Inspired by the Hungarian book
“The Teachings of Consciousness”
by Frank M. Wanderer
(available in Hungarian language)

The ego can be understood as a story made of thoughts and memories — a mask through which consciousness experiences human life.
Not an enemy, but a tool.
Suffering begins only when we believe this mask is all that we are.

An immature ego is always looking ahead.
It believes happiness is somewhere else — in the future, in success, in achievement, in a relationship, in becoming “more.”
Its quiet mantra is: “Not yet… but when I get there.”

A mature ego doesn’t reject the world.
It simply sees through it.
It recognizes that all forms are temporary — every goal, every identity, every version of “someone I must become.”
This realization doesn’t create bitterness.
It brings clarity.

The mature ego steps back.
It no longer needs to lead.
It allows something deeper to move through life.
Not chasing the future.
Not trying to be more.

Peace doesn’t arrive because everything has been achieved —
but because it is finally seen: nothing was ever missing.

This understanding lives at the heart of Lomi Lomi massage.
In Lomi Lomi, we don’t try to fix or improve the person on the table.
We create a safe, loving space where the ego can rest, and the body is remembered not as a problem to solve, but as a living expression of life itself.

Touch becomes presence.
Movement becomes prayer.
And healing arises not through effort,
but through remembering who we are beneath the story.

If these words resonate with you, you are warmly welcome to experience this presence through massage, tea or cacao ceremony.

“Creation is neither good nor bad. It simply is.”
— inspired by the teachings of Sri Ramana Maharshi

Creation does not judge itself.
It does not decide what is right or wrong, meaningful or meaningless.

A woman is simply a woman —
yet one mind calls her mother, another sister, another aunt.
Men are known to love women, hate snakes, and remain indifferent to grass and stones by the roadside.
All the suffering in the world arises from such judgments.

Creation is like a fig tree.
Birds eat its fruit or find shelter in its branches. People rest in its shade — and someone else may hang himself from one of its limbs. The tree continues its quiet life, indifferent to how it is used.
It is the human mind that creates its own difficulties and then cries out for help.

Do you really believe that God is so partial — granting peace to one person while punishing another with sorrow?
In creation, everything has its place.
Yet the human being refuses to see the good, the healthy, the beautiful.

Suffering is not born from life itself, but from the mind that labels, compares, resists.
When we forget this, we begin to struggle with what already is.
When we remember it, something softens.
This understanding is deeply present in my work.
In massage, we do not judge the body.
We do not label sensations or a feeling as good or bad.
We do not try to force an outcome or chase an experience.
We simply meet the moment — exactly as it arrives.

Two people meet in presence.
Breath to breath.
Touch to touch.

In Hawaiian wisdom, “Ha” means breath —
the breath of life,
the breath of God moving through all things.
To share breath is to share life itself.

During a session, we rest in this awareness.
We recognise in one another not something to fix,
but the breath of God is already moving, already whole.
And for a moment, we simply stay.
In the beauty of now.
In the quiet perfection of this present moment.
This present moment is complete.
Just as we are —
including our imperfections.
This is the spirit of Aloha.
To love is to be present.

If these words resonate with you, you are warmly welcome to experience this presence through massage, tea or cacao ceremony.

✨ New Year Blessings – Healing Together ✨

We begin by bowing in gratitude to 2025.
For its joys and challenges.
For its lessons and invitations.

Thank you for the trust, the openness, and the shared moments of presence.

As a new cycle opens,
we welcome the new —

the simple,
the real,
the whole.

We welcome a year that invites us back into the present moment.

It happens now.
