I feel really strongly about using quality products backed by clinical data and evidence.

For these lips I used 1ml of Juvederm Volift over two appointments. The patient was charged £195. As she was young and this was her first time having lips done, it was important they harmonised naturally with her face.

Even 0.5ml was only ever going to create a soft result as she already had naturally full lips. There’s no harsh ridge or overfilled look here, and I would never use substandard products.

I’m really passionate about the Vycross range and the soft, natural results it can achieve when used appropriately.

CO₂ CoolPeel Laser 5 Day Recovery

A common misconception is that there is a lot of downtime with CO₂. Because the treatment is completely controlled by the machine, downtime is usually around 5–7 days depending on the settings used.

I had the treatment myself and went to Manchester on day 1, and by day 2 I wouldn’t have even noticed if I didn’t look in the mirror.

I use the SmartXide CO2 Laser by DEKA, which uses SmartStack / SmartPulse technology. This allows the laser to precisely control the depth, energy and heat delivered to the skin, which is why treatments can be adjusted from lighter resurfacing to deeper treatments while still keeping downtime controlled.

This level of control is why there really isn’t another CO₂ system quite like it when it comes to precision and skin resurfacing results.

It’s going to give me great skin, and for me it’s worth a couple of days of downtime.

I’m really grateful that I was allowed to share this journey.

I’ll do a fuller post soon about the skincare that helped and why, because it honestly wasn’t loads of products just sticking consistently to a simple routine.

We used Clenziderm, QV moisturiser and vitamin A, and focused on skin health rather than trying everything at once.

I know sharing before and after photos can feel really vulnerable, so I was actually quite taken aback to be allowed to share them.

This has been about 16 weeks of consistent skincare, with a few skin scans along the way to help guide us and tweak things when needed.

One thing with skin is not striving for perfection. Skin works in cycles, and the odd breakout can still happen but when the skin is healthy, it becomes much more manageable.
