March - 'Spring momentum' 💪🏻

As we enter spring, it's been great to see so many of my clients out smashing their workouts and nailing their training.
However, it is always important to remember to appropriately pace your loading of training, whether cranking up the miles prepping for a marathon or putting in the reps in the gym ready to crush that next Hyrox competition, increasing load gradually helps the body adapt, whilst reducing the risk of injury at the same time.
Also don't forgot the importance of recovery when in the midst of a heavy training block. Recovery is when the repair happens and is just as vital as doing those hard sessions. Listen to your body and prioritise recovery when your body needs it, maybe even treat yourself to a sports massage whilst you're at it!
A personal milestone this week for me, Mark Addison Sports Therapy turns two!! 🎉 Can't believe it has been two whole years since the start of this journey, thank you to all my wonderful clients for your support over the past couple of years, here's to more years of helping people get back to doing what they love!
