Spinal Homecare Services provides high quality specialist support on a live in basis for adults with spinal cord injury and other physical disabilities throughout the UK. Our services are individualised, person centred, as we passionately believe that our clients have the right to live lives that are purposeful and which enables them to be independent and reach their full potential. Over the years we have built up an excellent reputation nationwide for working in partnership with Social Services and the UK's specialist spinal care centres to provide a quality service to our clients. Funding for your support package can come from many different streams, including CCGs - healthcare, Social Services or by individual private arrangement. We believe an individualised client service starts at the foundation level, the recruitment stage. Our experienced recruitment team will work with you to profile your ideal staff team, then to create an advert to capture your requirement and needs. From here if you wish, you can be involved in all aspect of the interview process. For our clients' insurance purposes, all PAs are aged over 21 and are fully qualified drivers. Their driving ability is assessed by a driving instructor before commencing any assignments. They are able to assist you to go to work, college, meetings, social outings, holidays etc. Our PAs complete our 5 day induction course, which meets the Skills for Care - Care Certificate Standards. Each year they undertake mandatory update training and have regular supervisions with their line manager. They have access, including out of office hours, to our nurse managers and care managers if they have any queries or concerns. They have an out of office hours contact number if there is an emergency situation.
