What a fantastic day of music and movement! 🎶💃
This morning, Fergal had us all smiling with his singing, bringing so much joy and energy to everyone 🎤✨ Then this afternoon, we kept the good vibes going by playing some favourite tunes on the TV and having a lovely boogie together! 🕺🎵
It’s been wonderful to see so many happy faces, toe-tapping and singing along 💛

What a wonderful day we’ve had! 🌼☔
Despite the awful rain, we didn’t let it stop us getting out and about! 🌧️💪 This morning, we enjoyed a lovely trip out for lunch at Bay View Garden Centre 🌿🍽️. The residents had a fantastic time choosing their meals, chatting together, and making the most of the outing – rain and all! 😊💐
This afternoon, we were treated to a brilliant performance from the talented Hugh Dent 🎤🎶. Everyone loved singing along, clapping, and enjoying the fantastic atmosphere – lots of smiles and happy faces all around! 😄👏
A big thank you to everyone who made today so special 💖

We had a great baking session Saturday afternoon in Kendal Care Home 🏡 😀 😋 🍰

Residents on the EMI unit enjoyed the putting weighing, preparing and putting together the ingredients for some biscoff rocky road and some cinder toffee tiffin 🤤😍

After setting overnight, the cakes were taken round the units and enjoyed by many grateful residents, and some staff too! 🙌 😊😊

We had a wonderful visit from the amazing Wheelchair Warriors today 🎶💙
Their cheerful ukulele tunes filled the home with smiles, laughter, and plenty of toe-tapping moments! 🎸✨ Our residents absolutely loved singing along and enjoying the fantastic atmosphere they created.
A huge thank you to the Wheelchair Warriors for bringing such joy and positivity to our home — we can’t wait to have you back again soon! 😊👏

🍦 Sweet Treats at Kendal Care Home! 🍦
Today we brought a little extra joy to our residents when we can't take everyone to Hansens Ice Cream Parlour we brought it to them ! 😍 With a delicious selection of flavours to choose from, plus cones and plenty of tasty toppings, everyone was able to create their perfect ice cream treat 🍨✨
There were lots of smiles, laughter, and even a few “go back for seconds” moments! 😋 It’s the simple things that bring the biggest happiness 💛

This afternoon we celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in style with a fantastic party here at the home ☘️💚
We were joined by a lovely folk band who had everyone smiling, clapping along, and even having a little sing and dance 🎶🕺💃 The atmosphere was amazing and full of joy!
Our residents had such a wonderful time celebrating together – it truly was a special afternoon filled with music, laughter, and great company 😊

We were incredibly grateful to receive a beautiful donation of flowers from Marks & Spencer Kendal 💐
These lovely blooms were shared out amongst our residents and brightened up our communal lounge too 🌸🌼 The smiles they brought to everyone’s faces were truly heartwarming 😊
A huge thank you for your kindness and generosity – it really does make such a difference to our residents’ day 💖

Today we spent time visiting all the wonderful ladies in our home to wish them a very Happy Mother’s Day 💐

Each of our residents received a small chocolate lolly, and some enjoyed a few extra chocolate treats too 🍫 It was lovely to spend a few moments chatting, sharing smiles and making sure everyone felt special and appreciated.

Mother’s Day is a chance for us to celebrate the amazing women in our home and recognise the kindness, love and life experiences they bring with them every day. It was a pleasure to see so many happy faces today ❤️
