I know how heavy it can feel when youāre carrying everything for your teen and trying to keep yourself afloat too. Itās exhausting, and so often it feels like no one sees you.
Something thatās made the biggest difference for me ā and for so many mums I speak to ā is carving out even the smallest scraps of time to be in your own head.
Not for housework. Not for everyone else. Just you.
A quiet walk. Sitting with a coffee. Letting your thoughts settle in the shower.
It doesnāt fix everything, but it gives you a breath. And that breath changes how the rest of the day feels ā for you and for your teen.
