A MANTIS LIFE
This is an account of a regression to an extra-terrestrial life conducted for my friend in July '24. In this session Bob set an intention to go to a life that he has experienced on another planet.
Soon after Bob's journey began he spoke of his deep attachment to earth which he described as a 'wondrous jewel in the universe' and of his human experiences here. Even so he was becoming aware of leaving earth and heading towards another planet 'somewhere out there'. He described this other planet as being a turquoise green colour, in contrast to the blue of earth.
Once on the planet he remarked on how the light appeared to be subdued, with a black sky. When I asked where the light was coming from, he paused for a while and then said 'Oh! It's night time' There were two moons and he sensed that night time lasted much longer than happens on earth. He became aware of his body as dark red, almost black and with the physical attributes of a Mantis being. [Mantis beings resemble the 'praying mantis' of the insect world on planet earth, yet they are often experienced as being taller than humans and walking on two legs. They are also often experienced in a variety of different colours]
Looking around, Bob remarked that there were numerous very tall trees with a few leaves that were very high up, “rather like a Bala tree”. He paused to describe a large, simple, hairy animal that was eating a large fruit from one of the trees.
Bob became aware of himself in a cave. In there he was handling a substance with a consistency he described to be like porridge. When a powder was added, it gained a soft yet solid consistency like clay, which he shaped into a football sized sphere. The ball was then infused with a light energy and stored away under a cover along with several other similar balls. He realised that this was food for the community and that he had a role in infusing it with this light energy. He enjoyed this exercise and took pride in the task.
As Bob went further into his life as a mantis being, he became aware of a community of dwellings that were aligned in the shape of a horse shoe. Within the horse shoe stood a larger dwelling, a community centre, so he entered and encountered several fellow mantis beings there.
As they greeted him, there was an immediate awareness amongst the mantis beings of this visit from human Bob into his body of this mantis life. Indeed they seemed to be aware that this regression was being conducted for Bob. It emerged that most mantis beings there have not had a human incarnation, yet there was a deep fascination in the human adventures of Bob, especially as they were so different to their own experiences. He volunteered to lay down and invite the community to gather round, tune into him in a telepathic connection, then pick out the experiences that held most value and interest for them. They were simply enjoying a flavour of what it is like to be human.
Their was a level of awe in their feedback on encountering a soul with human experiences, as they gained their own insight of the type of challenges for those souls. Interestingly at one point during this process, the mantis beings acknowledged how humans could have great difficulties in feeling any love or warmth towards a mantis being, as the mantis insectoidal bodies are so different to a human body. However rather poignantly he added 'yet mantis beings are big on the energy of love'
After a while an elderly mantis being joined them. He was slow moving with a reduced physical mobility and was assisted by other mantis beings to take his place next to Bob. The mantis beings appeared to take a position akin to sitting, wherein their limbs locked into place, thus their bodies could be held stable. However they brought a seat forward, shaped to facilitate a mantis body, to support the elderly mantis being due to the apparent weakness in his body. It soon became clear that this being was considering taking on a human incarnation following the end of his mantis life and was tuning into Bob to gain a download of what it is like to be human. Bob described how he placed one of his limbs onto Bob's chest to make a stronger connection for the download, yet the mantis being also explained that he was downloading from me as I was conducting the regression. I was happy to contribute.
He was interested in a human incarnation in which there is no conscious memory of his soul journey prior to that, as is common in the human experience of life. When asked about any concerns that he might have, he referred to the human experiences of 'loss'. He well knew that the experience of loss is temporary, yet acknowledged that it can seem like an eternity from the human perspective. This appeared to be daunting for him.
It was noted that souls that choose a human experience often fall into a commitment to themselves for a series of human lives, rather than just a single incarnation. Although this has the potential to be very rewarding in terms of soul development, it is also a very challenging experience from the mantis perspective. However he found Bob's experience of human lives and how well he has integrated those experiences, to be comforting.
The mantis beings explained that many have incarnated as other species within the galaxy for their own soul growth, yet not so many incarnating as humans. Indeed they can, and do, visit earth to observe developments for the planet and humanity, yet incarnating as human is far more challenging for them. The elderly Mantis being went on to express an interest in incarnating at a more simple time in the history of humanity and noted that there are experiences there that he would not like to overlook. In that respect, he also pointed out that “only during our physical incarnations are we bound by the demands of time, beyond that there are no such demands, unless following the demands of a karmic bond that may pull us into a particular timeline”.
The challenges facing a soul taking on a mantis lifetime were regarded as less arduous than the challenge of a soul taking on a human lifetime. When asked, they described some of those challenges for mantis beings: such as withstanding energetic storms and the quest to find nourishment for the physical body. However it also seemed that the variety of food that humans can enjoy does not seem to be available or regarded as necessary to mantis beings
We explored further into the mantis experience of life. Mantis can often heal themselves and support each other in that. A wounded mantis may go into a 'repair mode', similar to hibernation, while others may hold them within a protected healing space. So a group healing environment is common, yet it was explained that one to one healing also occurs within therapeutic settings
Mantis beings have a strong awareness of each other and it is clear that compassion and empathy are more developed in mantis than in humanity. It was explained that although Bob can be helped with his personal growth through this mantis connection, that keeping himself grounded would be an important aspect of this growth. In this respect it was also pointed out that growth is occurring at a natural rate for Bob and also for humanity
While there is no religion or church amongst this community, there is a respect and understanding of all, including the deeds of others. There is an appreciation of the afterlife amongst mantis beings. When a mantis being has passed on from their physical body, the remaining mantis beings can call on the consciousness of their deceased. At one point during the session Bob commented that “one half of the room is full of physical mantis beings, one half full of ghosts of mantis beings”. Yet all were at ease with this.
It was pointed out that there are some particular difficulties in incarnating into human bodies for mantis. This extends to non-physical soul level structures. Some form of calibration needs to take place so that this energetic structure is able to change to accommodate the soul structure pertaining to human lives. He explained that a soul may wish to explore a different experience in a different species yet it takes a lot of effort and energy to achieve that between mantis and humanity. That being so it does not serve the soul to keep on switching about without good reason due to the amount of energy that this process takes, which in turn can undermine the value of the actual experience. However it was made clear that within the whole range of its experiences, souls often wish to experience multiple species as part of its quest to grow.
This was a long and deep session for Bob where he was able to explore a different aspect of his personal history. At times it would feel like a channelling rather than a regression. As Bob, he holds a deep affection for mantis beings which I also share, yet he is also clear that he holds a deep affection for humanity and earth. The session explored aspects of the mantis experience that included reference to their own soul journey. The unfolding exploration addressed the connection between humans and extra-terrestrial beings of a very different appearance yet in this case, the bond and the respect between the species was palpable.
Mantis beings hold an awareness of their spiritual essence and value that highly. Within their ancient history they have faced their own challenges that has led them through their own evolution, which happens to be much further along than humanity has achieved at this point, Even though humanity might have been regarded as relatively primitive, they clearly preferred a balanced relationship between us in this session. Indeed there was a clear interest and value in the human experience. This occurs in some encounters in how mantis (and also other extra-terrestrial) beings encourage humanity to be proud of who we are, even though we can demonstrate such destructive behaviour. Indeed a first hand human experience was being chosen for the mantis being as his next step in personal growth.
In this dialogue (and others) it has been explained that many of the capabilities of mantis beings and other extra-terrestrial species, are capabilities that are ready for development within humanity. As humans we can choose to explore this. Indeed we are approaching a conscious awareness of our role within the inter-galactic community. We have been here for a long time, those that we call 'extra-terrestrial beings' have been here for even longer
Finally, sessions such as this brings awareness of the potential that may be inside us as humans. Potential that is mainly dormant, waiting to be developed. Self-exploration, meditation and embracing higher consciousness can help with that. This regression does not necessarily mean that we each have experiences as extra-terrestrial beings within our soul history, yet it is sounding like that to me, so why not?
