We’d like to let our patients know that from 7th to 10th April (following the Easter bank holiday), our practice will be operating with reduced capacity.

This is due to trainee GPs participating in industrial action during this period. While this may mean longer wait times for routine matters or fewer available appointments, please be assured that we are doing everything we can to continue providing safe care and prioritising urgent needs.

With this in mind, we do ask that patients needing routine care contact us after this time, to allow us to manage patients with urgent needs.

We would like to remind patients to consider the following options before contacting us:

* NHS 111 (online or by phone) for urgent medical advice
* Local pharmacies for minor illnesses and medication advice
* NHS Urgent Treatment Centres or Walk-in Centres for conditions that cannot wait
* In a life-threatening emergency, please call 999 or attend A&E

We kindly ask for your patience and understanding while we manage this temporary reduction in capacity.

Thank you for your continued support.

⚠️ Health Notice: Meningitis Awareness & Vaccination Reminder

Following the recent meningitis outbreak in the UK, everyone is encouraged to stay informed and ensure their vaccinations are up to date.

Meningitis is a rare but serious infection that can progress rapidly and become life-threatening. Early symptoms can include:
• High fever
• Severe headache
• Stiff neck
• Vomiting
• Sensitivity to light
• Rash or confusion

If you or someone you know experiences these symptoms, seek medical advice immediately.

💉 Vaccination is one of the most effective ways to protect yourself and others.
Vaccines such as the MenACWY vaccine help protect against several strains of meningococcal bacteria and are offered to teenagers and young adults in the UK. (aged 14 to 25)

Young people, especially students living or studying in close-contact environments, are at higher risk, so checking vaccination status is particularly important.

Please help protect our communities by:
✔ Checking your vaccination status
✔ Encouraging family members and students to be vaccinated
✔ Being aware of symptoms and seeking medical help early

Please contact us to check your vaccination status and if eligible, book an appointment to get vaccinated. Let’s work together to keep our communities safe.
