Practice History
We started on the Warwick Road in what is now the ‘Peacock’ Hotel, we later moved to the old ‘Convalescent Hospital’ on the high street, and finally a purpose built surgery was built on the Bertie Road site in 1981. The building was enlarged in 1995 and changed names to ‘Castle Medical Centre’.
Castle Medical Centre was rated Outstanding by Care Quality Commission (CQC) in July 2015 and we proudly provided excellent care to over 12,000 patients.
