Today at Heatherdale we had the pleasure of celebrating all the incredible women in our lives at our Mother’s Day Crowns & Cream Tea Royal Party.
The home was beautifully decorated in true royal style, with elegant displays and sparkling touches fit for a queen. Our residents and guests enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea featuring freshly baked scones generously topped with fresh cream and strawberry jam, alongside an assortment of delicate finger sandwiches and a selection of fancy cakes that looked almost too good to eat.
To add to the celebration, glasses of prosecco and a little Baileys were served for those who fancied something special, while many enjoyed the comforting tradition of a classic cup of tea to accompany the treats.
The afternoon was made even more memorable by the wonderful Gary Taylor, who serenaded us with timeless classics from legends such as Matt Monro and Elvis Presley. The music filled the room with smiles, singing, and plenty of fond memories.
It was a truly heartwarming afternoon and a wonderful way to celebrate and remember the mothers, grandmothers, and special women who mean so much to us. Days like today remind us how important it is to honour, cherish, and spend time with the people who hold such a special place in our hearts. 💐👑
