Hi Guy's, a great date for dairies!

Just popped into my favourite place Westerham Height Nursery of course, so a quick update on the Ducks for you, 4 littles beauties have survived so far, shame about all the others but thats nature for you sad as it is, but just look at these and proud mum aren't just they just delicious, I'll rephrase that! aren't they gorgeous! lol lol. Mother and babies are doing well as you can see. What a privilege to have mother duck land in your garden to have her babies, well pond in this case! Simon and crew have made a super ramp and nest for them to nessele up in and there's no shortage of food! Fish have been tollorate with them, nibbling their feet at times but I don't think they harmed any of them, its been birds and night predators that have taken the others! Anyway I think Mother Duck will definitely be back next year with her new family knowing now about this 5* accommodation! he he he. Hope you enjoy my little video!

Good day to you all, Well we had a great Gardeners Evening Talk last night, (Wednesday April 15th) with our specialist grower Bryan Everest, talking about Dahlias, great fun as always with him, and lots of give away as in dahlia tubers potted up! well he did a demo first before he gave them away, so we knew what to do for future reference! This was great joy to our friends and members who came along this evening. Plus he had lots of his specialist sweet pea plants for sale, so after a nice cup of tea and a good laugh it was a well spent few hours. If you missed it last night and would like some of his sweet peas plants and to hear the similar talk you can catch up with him at the Ightham & District Gardeners Club on Tuesday 28th April see poster below! Bye for now
