Good morning to everyone from our first open day there have been some lovely people coming in and asking questions about funerals and the overriding impression that we get is that people do not talk about this sad time and that can lead to a lot of confusion at an already difficult time. Come and see us if you would like to chat about things we are here today till 12, and there are still biscuits left 😊 and coffee and tea. Alternatively you can contact us at anytime during office hours with any questions.

Open Mornings at Watson & Bell Funeral Service

On the first Saturday every month, between 9am and 12 Noon, come down and see us, see how we work and ask any questions you may have about the funeral profession.

* Ask us about arranging funerals and what options are available to you
* Pre-Arranged Funeral Plans, what they are and how they can benefit you
*What happens at time of need, and when someone comes into our care
*Things you may have heard about funerals, are they true? What exactly will happen
*See a selection of our coffin range and our vehicles
*Have a cup of tea or coffee and chat to other people about your experiences, about our profession, talk about grief or offer suport to others.
We will have guests from various organisations that you can talk to about various subjects

We are looking for casual funeral bearers, this will suit someone who is maybe semi-retired or who may have free time on their hands. This is an opportunity to provide dignity and empathy to grieving families. There will also be the option of joining our on-call rota, where you will be on our front line, giving our families the confidence that their loved ones will be looked after in the best hands.

A fantastic morning today, our colleagues Matthew and Chas McGorrin donated a picture made by Matthew to the Aylesham Heritage Centre. This picture was made from copper and presented to Eric, the chairman of the centre.

Good afternoon. A strange one. On Saturday 14th at 11:30ish PM 2 lovely young gentleman have decided to remove our industrial Bin from outside our office at the old school. The lovely guys have been caught on cctv but before the footage is sent on I would like to offer the return of the bin to be the end of the matter. As it will cost to be replaced and very inconvenient. Hopefully some sort of conscience and community spirit will prevail

Father's Day is almost upon us and while this is a very opportune time to celebrate our Dads, it can also be a time of sadness for those of us who have lost them. We have an exciting new venture delivering Eco-friendly coffins to the funeral industry.

We are looking for the 2-3 drivers tasked with professionally delivering to funeral directors in Kent and around the M25.

The right candidates will need to be:-
over 25 years old

Hold a full clean Uk drivers license

Experience of driving in London (preferred but not essential)

Monday-Friday 40 hours per week

Starting salary circa £29’000 per annum
