This is just a little reminder to always check labels, even on products you would never expect.

I was really surprised (and honestly really frustrated) to see that many bread rolls from Marks & Spencer contain milk. For anyone with dairy intolerance, allergies, or sensitivities, this is exactly the kind of thing that can easily get missed when you assume a plain bread roll is alright for you.

Food intolerances don’t just stop at food either, drinks, skincare, cosmetics, supplements and everyday products can all contain ingredients that affect people differently.

Please don’t assume. Always check labels, ask questions and look after yourself. 💚

A lot of symptoms you might be struggling with can come down to an intolerance or sensitivity and can so easily be missed.

It can be so tricky to navigate.

Let’s raise the awareness of ingredients in what we consume and put on our body.

I am beyond excited about how incredible Fiona and my Sacred Frequency Cards have become. I always believed deeply in their power and I use them every single day myself.

One of my lovely clients, Ann, has struggled with sleep for such a long time. During our sessions, while I never ignored the sleep challenges completely, I knew there were deeper priorities that needed support first. We are in the beautiful month of May and for today the celebration of Beltane.

Today is the celebration of Beltane, celebration of flowers and nature, of beauty, love and abundance. Of feeling the energies of this beautiful planet.

You don’t have to rush into this month.
You don’t have to have it all figured out.

Instead, let May be a space where you:
✨ Breathe a little deeper
✨ Listen a little closer to your body
✨ Honour your own natural pace

There is wisdom in slowing down.

There is power in gentle change, of growth of development.

I have seen this a lot with clients this week. They recognise that there is a need for change in a way that supports their personal growth, it’s a beautiful thing.

Sometimes change might be slow, it might be the altering of one thing in your life to support you.

🌷This could be increasing the amount of good quality fresh water you drink every day.
🌷It might be focusing on what you want rather than what you don’t want.
🌷You might want to create more calm in your life
🌷Or improve your sleep by going to bed earlier every night.

So many of the clients I work with don’t think they’re stressed.

They often say:
“I’m fine, just a bit tired”
“I’ve got a lot on, but that’s normal”
“I’m busy and just need to get on with things”

Interestingly their body tells a different story. Muscle testing doesn’t lie.

Stress isn’t always obvious, we don’t often feel it.
Sometimes it’s the constant background tension we have learned to live with.

💚 This Stress Awareness Month and I invite you to gently ask yourself:
Am I truly relaxed or just so used to being on alert?

Quick, simple and oh so delicious 🥑

This is a new one and going to be one of my favourite go-to vegan options. A nourishing bowl filled with vegetables, creamy avocado and a couple of drops of lemon. Simple and healthy.

It’s so full of flavour and leaves you feeling satisfied without that heavy feeling.

It’s amazing what we don’t realise is in our food and drink…

As someone who is dairy intolerant, specifically to casein (the protein in milk). Over the years I’ve become more and more mindful of what is in our food and drinks. Today was a real eye-opener…

I discovered that some wines actually contain traces of milk. 🤯

Not because they’re made with milk in the way we might think but because during the refining process, substances like casein can be used to clarify the wine. Even though most of it is removed, tiny residues can remain and for those of us with sensitivities or intolerances, that can matter. I always knew that during the filtering process animal derivatives are used I had no idea about milk.

It really brought home to me how important awareness is. I always read labels on foods and don’t pay attention to drink. Note to self always read all labels.

So many of us are navigating symptoms, bloating, fatigue, skin flare-ups, headaches, without realising that hidden ingredients could be playing a role.

This isn’t about fear… it’s about gentle curiosity and tuning into our bodies.

Our bodies are always communicating with us sometimes we just need to listen a little more closely.

Make yourself a priority. 💚

Tune into whatever frequency you need right now.

Tune into what your mind and body really need.

What do you feel you need right now?

Do you feel you need to always be doing?

Do you feel that you always need to be giving?

Winter is the time of the year to retreat and rest.

To slow down and nourish yourself.

It is time for being.

In Chinese medicine, we are in the element of Water which is connected to the kidneys and bladder. Kidneys and bladder are associated with the emotion of fear.

Fear, anxiety and panic. These are connected to our feeling safe, if we don’t feel safe we aren’t grounded.

This really is a time to tune into you and get to know yourself better and understand what your needs truly are.

It’s a time to, have more sleep, eat warm nourishing foods, exercise gently and to really focus on what your body needs, rather than continually pushing through.

Rest is essential, every part of your body needs to rest.

It can be so hard to rest when there is so much to do.

How do you feel when you are resting. Do you feel guilty? Do you actually feel relaxed or do you notice that your body feel tight, your shoulders are raised, your hands are clasped together.

Or, have you never paid attention and think that just because you are sitting, watching TV or reading, that you are relaxed.

Pay attention to how you really feel.

Begin by closing your eyes and focus on your body, each part of your body. How does it feel?

Ask yourself, ‘what if I could rest more, what if I could just be more’

What would this feel like?

How would it feel to just be?

Give yourself permission to rest, to calm your mind and body.

It is safe to rest, to make yourself a priority.

What can you do today to make you a priority?

Choose YOU. 💚
