Running Video Analysis
**New service available at Cockermouth Physiotherapy**
Do you want to improve your running performance, improve your speed, efficiency, or simply have less aches or pains? Are you struggling with recurrent injuries?
Why not try a video running analysis?

What the analysis will include:
60-minute initial assessment, followed by a 30 minute follow up review of your progress.
History of your running, health, and any injuries.
Identify your running goals.
Movement screen including joint range, muscle strength and movement control related to running.
Video analysis of your running gait on a treadmill. Slow motion analysis of your movement and gait pattern.
Analysis completed by a physiotherapist.
Individual targeted exercise plan, and specific cues for you to use while running to improve your gait.

Price £110. (this includes analysis and review)

Strengthening exercises... what does this mean to you??

The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy have a new set of resources explaining the benefit that strengthening exercises can have on helping people feel better and remaining active. There is compelling evidence to support its benefit for people living with health conditions.
It does not have to mean attending a gym or exercise facility. These resources show how you can maintain and improve strength your way!

Hello everyone and welcome to my new page. My name is Sophie and I am a Chartered Physiotherapist based in Embleton in the Lake District. Lakeland Physiotherapy is a service designed to provide rehabilitation in your home, for those who perhaps cant make it to a clinic or outpatient setting.
As a lot of you know, I am very passionate about helping people to live a full and active life after injury or illness.
I have over 10 years experience of working as a physiotherapist, in the NHS and private practise, ranging from musculoskeletal injuries, acute care, neurological rehabilitation, falls prevention and community based care.
