Today is VJ day and we are honouring 80 years since the end of the war with a very patriotic day.

We began with having breakfast together, then we enjoyed waving our flags and singing our hearts out to wartime songs .
We are rounding off the afternoon with a quiz whilst enjoying Pimm's , Victoria sponge and Bakewell Tarts.

These are the nights that make us laugh beyond measure!
We began with a competitive game of pub skittles, enjoyed a few drinks from the tipple trolley and then finished up with a couple of rounds of a game called consequence, which got cheekier with every round!!

What a gorgeous day.

A few of us enjoyed a lovely trip out to Dovecote buttery for lunch today.
Afterwards, we had a nice walk around the Sunley gardens in the sunshine to walk all the scrumptious food . Perfect ☀️

Last night was an absolute hoot!
We were joined by the wonderful Jenny Simmonds for a night of entertainment and we took the opportunity to get on our feet and have a dance.
We laughed, we sang and we shook our little tails. We had a round of pass the parcel and we finished up with someone dishing out candy ci******es and everyone having a good giggle with that !
