🧶 A Little Plea! 🎃

We’re looking for some thick orange wool for our residents’ craft sessions this October — we’ll be making pumpkins! 🍂🧵

If anyone has any spare wool they’d kindly like to donate, we’d be so grateful. Every little bit helps make our activities extra special. 💛

We’re proud to support the great work that Cransley Hospice Trust deliver in the local community and being part of their recent golf day fundraiser which raised an amazing £10,000🏌️⛳️

🌟 We had an amazing afternoon yesterday at our annual Macmillan fundraiser! 🎂🍰☕️

Our talented kitchen team prepared the most delicious cakes, and we were delighted to welcome Ben, Mayor of Kettering who spent time chatting with our residents, their families and friends and touring the home.

Together we raised £150, and with the home doubling this amount 💚🙌, even more will go towards this worthwhile cause.

A huge thank you to everyone who gave their support in so many ways – we couldn’t have done it without you! 🎉🌟

💙✨ This week has been full of smiles, memories, and togetherness.

🎶 Nursery Rhymes – During a lovely 1-to-1 one of our residents lit up with joy as she recalled nursery rhymes from her younger days. All it took was starting them off, and she came alive with song — a truly beautiful moment.

🔤 Scrabble Fun – Always a favourite here! Scrabble not only sparks friendly competition but also strengthens friendships and connections as residents share laughter over the board.

❤️ Origami Hearts – Today we learned how to fold origami hearts — a wonderful example of learning together and sharing skills.

🐾 Hero the PAT Dog – And of course, let’s not forget our monthly visit from Hero, our much-loved PAT dog! His cuddles and calm presence always brighten everyone’s day

These small but meaningful activities create big moments of happiness and connection. 🌟

🍂 As we step into autumn, we’ve been reflecting on the wonderful summer we’ve had here at Countryview. From sunny trips to the park, our glorious fete, to making the most of our outdoor space, enjoying crafts, games, and plenty of fun — it’s been a season full of smiles. 🌞

Most importantly, we’ve made sure every resident had the chance to do the things they enjoy most. Here’s to carrying that joy into the cosy days of autumn ahead. 🍁✨

We had such a glorious afternoon on Saturday, the weather was kind, the entertainment was amazing, the stalls inviting, BBQ busy, and we welcomed resident friends and family to enjoy our outdoor space. It was a truly wonderful fete.

Thank you to Deputy Mayor Gemma for joining us for the afternoon - and we look forward to seeing you soon!

We raised over £1000 for the residents funds which will be used for an amazing panto this year.
