Although new weight loss injections like Tirzepatide (Mounjaro) are set to be available on the NHS from 23rd June 2025 under a national policy, this GP practice has not yet received local guidance or approval to prescribe them. These medications must be used alongside nutrition and exercise programmes. Until official guidance and eligibility criteria are provided, the practice will not be offering this service and asks patients not to contact them about it. Updates will be shared once available.
The NHS Better Health website is a great place to start for advice on losing weight, as well as getting active, drinking less and quitting smoking.

Dryland Surgery NHS Bank Holiday

The Surgery will close at 6.30pm on Friday 23rd May and re-open
8am Tuesday 27th May

Prescriptions left over the weekend will be ready on Friday 30th May.
