HOW TO PREPARE FOR A MASSAGE
Are you wondering what to bring, what to wear, or how to get ready for your massage?🤔
For many of you this may be obvious, but if it’s your very first treatment, it’s natural to feel a little unsure about what to expect.
Here are a few simple tips to help you feel comfortable and fully enjoy the experience:
📝FIRST VISIT – If it’s your first massage with me, allow a little extra time. I’ll need to take a short health history to make sure there are no contraindications and to understand your needs better.
👕LOOSE CLOTHING – Please be prepared to undress to your underwear. This allows me to check posture, spinal alignment and other factors that may contribute to discomfort. You’ll feel more relaxed if nothing is tight or restrictive.
🚿SHOWER – A quick shower before your massage is always a good idea. It helps the oils absorb better and makes the whole experience more pleasant for both of us. If your massage includes the face, it’s best to come without makeup.
🍔FOOD – Try not to eat a heavy meal just before your session. Ideally, eat about 1–2 hours beforehand. Coming hungry isn’t great either – instead of relaxing, you may just think about food (and your stomach might too 😉).
👱🏻♀️HAIR – If you have long hair, tie it up. Even so, expect that some oils might reach your neck and upper back.
👑JEWELLERY – Please remove jewellery before your massage. If you forget, I’ll kindly remind you.
