Today at Avery Park, we celebrated VE Day in the best way we know how! ❤️ We finally revealed our commemorative display, which our residents and staff have been pouring their hearts into over the last few weeks. 🎨🎨🇬🇧🇬🇧

​The atmosphere was electric thanks to the incredible Lesley Ann and Katie Rose, who had the whole room singing along and swaying to the classics. 🎤🎶 We rounded off the afternoon with a delicious spread of party food and a lot of shared memories. It was a day truly filled with laughter and smiles! 😊🍰

We had some very small—and very busy—visitors yesterday! 🐜✨ A huge thank you to Abeona Nursery for stopping by and giving our residents and the children such a wonderful surprise.

​They brought in some fascinating live insects for us to study! 🦗🌿 Everyone grabbed a magnifying glass to get a "bug’s eye view" of our little guests. It was such a special experience, and the curiosity in the room was contagious! 🧐✨

​There is nothing quite like seeing different generations leaning in together to discover the wonders of nature. 👵👴🤝👶🧒

​We truly enjoyed every minute of the visit! Thank you for the memories, Abeona Nursery! ❤️🐝

The day kicked off with a burst of color! Staff and residents went all out with their outfits, posing for photos and setting the festive mood right from the start. 💃🕺✨

​Our arts and crafts session was a huge hit. Everyone channeled their inner designer to create custom sombreros. The creativity was flowing, and the results were truly amazing! 👒🖌️🎊

​We rounded off the celebrations with a DIY taco bar. Residents got to be their own chefs, stacking their tacos exactly how they liked them. The verdict? Absolutely delicious! 😋🌮🥑

​It’s wonderful to see such a lively spirit at the home—well done to everyone involved! 🎉🌵🌶️🌽

Yesterday morning, we took a stroll into the heart of our local community for a visit to the Morrisons Café. There’s nothing quite like a fresh cup of coffee and a slice of cake to get the conversation flowing! ✨️✨️✨️
