Wooden Hot Tubs
With focus and dedication comes excellence, and here at Royal Tubs we are concerned with one thing only – wooden hot tubs. The relaxing and rejuvenating effects of warmth have been known for centuries; indeed, the Scandinavian Sauna tradition stretches back to the iron age, while the Roman’s enjoyed hot baths (known as Thermae) a couple of hundred years later. Luckily you need not be an emperor or consul to enjoy a hot bath today, however! Wooden hot tubs emerged hundreds of year ago throughout the North and East as a means of making cleansing hot baths more accessible, whilst reaping the benefits of using traditional building materials (predominantly larch and spruce).
A hot-tub is not just a tub filled with heated water, it’s a statement, a testament to relaxation, comfort, and the good life. But not all hot-tubs are made equal, there a number of options, from standard wooden ones to more power-efficient and eco-friendly options. When choosing an item of such luxury, you don’t want to shortchange yourself.
Our Royal Tub line provides a number of high quality, fiber-glass lined hot tubs. With the fiber-glass lining, you receive a number of major benefits over the standard wooden tubs. Cleaning time is downsized drastically, giving you more time to actually enjoy the tub the way it was meant to, full of
hot water in a squeaky clean tub. The lining replaces the majority of the wood, so you don’t have to worry about constantly keeping water in the sub to stop the wood from drying. We offer two models for our Royal Tub line, one featuring an internal heater for the tub, and the other with an external heater for the water.
