As autumn settles in, it’s totally normal to feel your mood dip or your motivation slip.

The good news? There are some simple, science-backed things we can all do to lift our spirits!

Tip 8: Vitamin D - In autumn and winter, many people don’t get enough vitamin D from sunlight. Consider foods rich in vitamin D or talk to your doctor about supplements.

Ah yes, happiness....

We spend so much of our time trying to "achieve" happiness when really it's just those little moments happening around us all the time.

It's less about "achieving" it and more about "noticing" it.

I love it when my clients realise how many simple, little things bring them joy and happiness every day when they stop and notice them.

Which of course isn't as easy as it sounds with so many other things distracting us and drawing attention away from them!

There are a few tricks we can use to help our brain notice them more, a little bit of training to help it shift it's focus to them.

My favourite one, and the most simple, is to write down one good thing every day.

Small simple things like a favourite song on the radio, or the sunshine coming through the clouds.

The more we notice and write down the more our brain wants to look for more of them.

These seemingly small things help give our brain a more balanced view of the world around us and creates a more healthy balance of chemicals in our brain lifting our mood and shifting our mindset.

Wow! It’s hard to believe it’s been 12 years since I qualified as a hypnotherapist after 10 intense months of training — and honestly, that was just the beginning of my learning journey.

Since then, my life has completely changed 💜

I didn’t just learn how to be a hypnotherapist; I also had to figure out how to be a businesswoman, navigating all the ups and downs life has thrown my way—from illness and injury to economic crises and a pandemic.

But what’s been truly life-changing is how that training transformed my own mental health and resilience.

Everything I teach my clients about how their brains work, why they react the way they do, and how we can all take back control, continues to positively shape my life every day.

So today, I want to say thank you 🤗

Thank you to every single client who has trusted me to support them on their journey — and to those who have welcomed me into their lives and the lives of their loved ones.

Our Story

I work with people who have been suffering from stress and anxiety and who feel they have lost their way in life. My clients often say to me that they don't know how they got to this place in their life. They know they aren't happy there but they don't know what to do to make things better. I help my clients to get back control of their lives, help them to regain their confidence and realise that the future holds so much more for them.

I chose to retrain as a hypnotherapist after my own anxiety led to physical health problems and a diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. “One of the things that helped me the most in my recovery was understanding how our brains work and why that can have such a huge impact on our wellbeing, both physical and mental and this is something I now share with all my clients”. Using my own experiences and training I specialise in helping people overcome anxiety and chronic conditions such as CFS, Fibromyalgia and IBS.
