I wish more people saw “failure” for what it really is—a learning.

The truth is, we all stumble, and every single one of those moments is where growth sneaks in.

When a child falls while learning to walk, no one calls it a failure. We cheer them on and tell them to keep going—because falling is just part of finding balance.

It’s the same for us.

🌈✨ “When it rains, look for rainbows… when it’s dark, look for stars.” ✨🌈

I say it often: this is one of my all-time favourite quotes.

When I first discovered it, something clicked deep inside — like a homecoming. I realised I’ve lived by these words my whole life, searching for rainbows through good times and tough ones.

And honestly? Those rainbows have helped save me, more than once.

It wasn’t until I trained in hypnotherapy and researched the neuroscience behind this that I realised just how powerful this simple quote really is.

Yes, it’s beautiful, but there’s hard science backing its sentiment too!

As promised, I’m sharing why this quote means so much to me. Here’s Reason No. 2:

🌈 Reason #2: We only get rainbows because of the storm.

This always reminds me that even in the darkest moments, there’s something positive to find.

Sometimes, we spot the rainbow right as the storm is raging. Other times, it’s only after things settle down that its full beauty becomes visible.

In fact, science shows when people look back on challenges — whether it’s heartbreak, health struggles or major loss — they often realise they came through it, and can see new growth or resilience they never expected.

It’s easier to see the rainbow from a distance, but knowing it will come helps me enter storms with curiosity rather than fear.

Yes, things might get tough…but I’ll get through, and there will be rainbows to find — some along the way, some after.

Anyone else wondering how it’s October already?! 🍂✨

I love this time of year… golden leaves crunching underfoot 🍁, hot chocolate in hand ☕, and lazy evenings snuggled under a blanket 🛋️ with a cat or two 🐾.

Our Story

I work with people who have been suffering from stress and anxiety and who feel they have lost their way in life. My clients often say to me that they don't know how they got to this place in their life. They know they aren't happy there but they don't know what to do to make things better. I help my clients to get back control of their lives, help them to regain their confidence and realise that the future holds so much more for them.

I chose to retrain as a hypnotherapist after my own anxiety led to physical health problems and a diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. “One of the things that helped me the most in my recovery was understanding how our brains work and why that can have such a huge impact on our wellbeing, both physical and mental and this is something I now share with all my clients”. Using my own experiences and training I specialise in helping people overcome anxiety and chronic conditions such as CFS, Fibromyalgia and IBS.

What sets me apart from other health care professionals is that I use a solution focused approach.
