🚨 Service Update – Water Supply Disruption 🚨

Due to a burst water main in Kidderminster, our building currently has no water supply. As a result, we are unable to offer face-to-face appointments at this time.

☎️ We remain open for emergencies – if your query is urgent and cannot wait, please contact us as you normally would.

‼️ Important Update: Weight Loss Injections ‼️

📞 Due to a high number of enquiries, we’d like to clarify the current NHS prescribing rules for weight loss injections.

These treatments are only available under strict NHS criteria.
GPs can only prescribe if ALL the following apply:

✅ BMI of 40 or above
AND
✅ Diagnosis of 4 or more of the following conditions:

🔹 High blood pressure (hypertension)
🔹 High cholesterol (dyslipidaemia)
🔹 Cardiovascular disease (e.g. stroke, heart attack)
🔹 Obstructive sleep apnoea
🔹 Type 2 diabetes

📌 You must also have completed a formal NHS weight management programme, such as:

• NHS Digital Weight Management Service
• Diabetes Prevention Programme

📫 If you are eligible, we will contact you directly.
❌ Please do not contact the surgery about this at this time.

🕒 There is discussion of expanding access to those with BMI 35–39.9 in future (with 4+ conditions), but no confirmed timeline yet.
