Lovely visit to my sponsored horse and rider today.

Maisie has had a busy few days at Camp and is now getting ready for PetPlans on Friday so she was ready for her treatment today.

We worked through some points of tension she was holding and she also benefited from infrared laser pad after her treatment.

New client to my books is the lovely Queenie.

Queenie benefited from her treatment giving positive feedback throughout.
His owner has been given some exercises and stretches to continue to benefit her in between treatments.

She is a high energy pony who loves her job and is brilliant on the ground for her young jockey.

Notification from RAF Odiham...Please advertise this notification as wide as possible at your stables or yard and pass to anyone you know with horses or livestock in the area to ensure the widest publicity. Also note an increase in traffic will be experienced during this day.

RAF Odiham will hold its annual Families Day on Friday 25 July 2025. This day is an opportunity for the Station to thank those who stand so steadfastly behind the Sailors, Soldiers, Aviators from RAF Odiham when their loved ones are deployed on combat operations overseas.

On this day, you will notice a significant increase in aircraft activity, with Chinook helicopters flying wide circuits from the airfield all morning and aircraft performing displays in the afternoon, between 1000 and 1830 approx.; I would particularly ask those with horses and livestock to note that these displays will include fast jet activity.

Why would you book you horse a massage after exercise or competition?

Massage after exercise is good for horses to relieve muscle stress and tension.

⭐️ It helps to aid muscle recovery, and helps with horses well-being

⭐️ Massage shifts horses into there parasympathetic nervous system allowing them to relax and repair to help reduce the risk of injury.

⭐️ Muscle recovery is good for flushing toxins from the body like lactic acid which builds in the muscle during exercise and can cause fatigue and stiffness.

⭐️ Improves the blood flow to the muscles and helps to deliver oxygen and nutrients which are needed to aid recovery and repair.

⭐️ Promotes calmness and relaxation physically and mentally especially after workout.

⭐️ Helps horses who have travelled and used there isometric muscle contraction to balance which can cause tired muscles.

⭐️ A horse travelling for an hour in a box or trailer is equivalent to 20 mins of trot work 😳
Three hours of travelling is the same as a mile of cantering.
