📣Skip the 8am rush- contact your GP online

GP Online Access

Did you know there's an easy way to get in touch with your GP practice without waiting on the phone?

As part of a new campaign from NHS England, patients are being encouraged to use GP online access to contact their practice at a time that suits them.

You can send your symptoms or requests though:
✅Your GP practice website
✅The NHS App

This gives you more choice in how you contact us- whether online, by phone, or in person.

Online forms are especially helpful for:
👩‍💼Working adults
👨‍👩‍👧Parents and carers
🌍Anyone who finds it difficult to call at busy times

The campaign runs across England from 9th February to 31st March so if you haven't tried contacting us online before, now is a great time to give it a go.

💻It's simple, secure and can save you time.

💉!!! IT’S NOT TOO LATE TO VACCINATE !!! 💉

Have you had your Flu vaccination?

Flu is not just a heavy cold. Flu occurs every year, and it is a highly infectious disease with symptoms that come on very quickly. A bad bout of flu can be much worse than a heavy cold.

The most common symptoms of flu are fever, chills, headache, aches and pains in the joints and muscles, and extreme tiredness. Healthy individuals usually recover within 2 to 7 days, but for some the disease can lead to hospitalisation, permanent disability or even death.

Flu vaccines help protect those that are risk and protects against the main types of flu virus circulating.

When an infected person coughs or sneezes, the flu viruses can be breathed in by other people, or they can be picked up by touching surfaces where the viruses have landed.

The best way to avoid catching and spreading flu is by having the vaccination.
Flu can affect anyone but if you are over 65, or have a long-term health condition, the effects of flu can be much worse

You should have the flu vaccination if you are over 65, if you are pregnant, seriously overweight (BMI of 40 and above) or have a long-term condition.

If you or a friend or relative are eligible then don’t delay, book an appointment with us today!
