A skin journey I’m incredibly proud to be part of ⠀
⠀
Initial consultation⠀
This client presented with significant pigmentation and uneven skin tone. Following a full consultation, this was identified as melasma which is a chronic skin condition that requires long term management, not quick fixes.⠀
⠀
Melasma is so difficult to treat and even easier to trigger, which is why sticking strictly to a medical grade skincare regime is absolutely essential.⠀
⠀
So what did we do?⠀
We began with a prescribed at home skin plan, including medical grade products and targeted medication, with the aim of correcting skin function before chasing visible results.⠀
⠀
The goals were to:⠀
Suppress excess melanin production⠀
Improve cell turnover⠀
Strengthen the skin barrier⠀
Treat inflammation & not just cover the pigment⠀
⠀
This phase requires full commitment. Skincare can feel like a chore (I see it daily in clinic), but the truth is consistency equals results.⠀
⠀
Transitioning & maintaining results⠀
Once the skin had responded and pigment activity was under control, we transitioned her onto a tailored maintenance plan designed for long term skin health, barrier support and pigment prevention.⠀
⠀
This includes continued use of medical grade skincare that inhibits the enzyme responsible for melanin production, helping to keep pigmentation suppressed and results stable over time.⠀
⠀
Why at home care matters ⠀
Clinic treatments enhance results.⠀
Home care creates them.⠀
⠀
If a prescribed routine isn’t followed, pigmentation returns and conditions flare, especially with melasma.⠀
⠀
This client followed her plan PERFECTLY and trusted the process from start to finish. The results speak for themselves, and I couldn’t be happier that she trusted me with her skin.⠀
⠀
Real results come from real commitment and this is a perfect example of that.⠀
