Care Assistants required.

You will ideally be a person who thrives on providing a high standard of care and support and have a genuine interest in the well-being of our service users.

No experience, not a problem as training is provided for all successful candidates. You will be required to undertake the level 2 QCF qualification.

Our service users vary in age, requirements and have a variety of conditions, i.e. dementia, learning disabilities, physical disabilities etc.

Cook Required
We are looking for a part time cook to join our residential home team.
The purpose of the role of Cook is to manage the preperation and the delivery of meals within the Care Home.
Also to understand the need to promote the philosophy of privacy, dignity, independance, choice, rights and fullfilment for all residents and treating everyone with respect.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience is required
To have a genuine interest for older people
To be willing to participate in National Vocational Training Programmes if necessary
To have good communication skills
To have the ability to work effectively within a team environment

What a lovely week at Glanmorfa.
Ysgol y Castell years 1 and 2 came up to entertain the residents by singing Christmas carols.
The children also had a surprise visitor come to see them.
