Kilburn Care Home offers residential, nursing, dementia and respite care in a specially designed modern home in the village of Kilburn, close to local bus services and the wider motorway network. The home, featuring 47 rooms, is bright with rooms for communal activities, quiet pastimes and family visits. Residents benefit from a popular patio on a sunny day and there are raised planters for the green-fingered. The home and all its carers are well equipped to support each resident but always look to enhance life in the home. The activities programme is filled with enjoyment and even special visitors like their therapy pets.

🌟 Franks 90th Birthday Celebration 🌟

Frank had a big birthday coming up and after speaking with his wife, We organised a party for him so he could spend time with his family 🥳 Frank turned 90 on thursday and he is with his family celebrating this afternoon, enjoying every moment!

Our halloween party was a big hit this afternoon! Our residents have enjoyed spooky music, games, dancing and a buffet ☠️👻 The best dressed winners were picked by John, well done betsy & isabelle.

Well done to our residents who joined in yesterday with decorating pumpkins, our winner was Tony with the cat 🐱🎃

This afternoon has been so joyful, we have had some animals from The Mobile Mini Zoo visit us again. They have brought so much joy to our residents!

Our Indian themed day has gone down well today! This morning we did an Indian themed Quiz, we had a Indian menu for lunch which everyone enjoyed and then a party this afternoon with bollywood music and musical instruments 🇮🇳

Yesterday afternoon we enjoyed having Kevin and marie join us to do their halloween spectacular show!🎃 Everyone was singing along and having fun.

A couple of our lovely ladies enjoyed a pamper session this morning. They enjoyed relaxing whilst we had a good chat, they enjoyed having their nails shaped as they wanted and then they chose what colour they were having 💅

We are looking for a hairdresser to come to Kilburn Care Home to cut our residents hair on a monthly basis 💇‍♀️

This morning we enjoyed reminiscing, we looked at old postcards, papers and talked about what everyone could remember from when they were younger then this afternoon we did a balloon game that was not only fun but we got our exercises in aswel.

This morning we have been baking 🍂 We enjoyed making a mixed berries pie & then we still had pastry left so we decided we would make some Jam tarts too🥧 which went down a treat😍
