Kilburn Care Home is located in the village of Kilburn, near Belper. Residents can enjoy arts and crafts, gentle exercise and get out and about.

Kilburn Care Home offers residential, nursing, dementia and respite care in a specially designed modern home in the village of Kilburn, close to local bus services and the wider motorway network. The home, featuring 47 rooms, is bright with rooms for communal activities, quiet pastimes and family visits. Residents benefit from a popular patio on a sunny day and there are raised planters for the green-fingered. The home and all its carers are well equipped to support each resident but always look to enhance life in the home. The activities programme is filled with enjoyment and even special visitors like their therapy pets.

Today has been all about Arts & crafts 🎨 we have had a wonderful day and everyone has been really engaged and One of our residents really wanted to get involved in doing some maintenance which he did alongside our Maintenance man Chris 🔨

This morning has been lovely on the Rykneild suite having a pamper, tea & biscuits and a natter with some of our lovely ladies 💅

This afternoon we have had a Guinness to celebrate St. Patrick's day ☘️ with the greatest showman on!

Today we have had a Celebration of life ✨️ we have spoke about happy memories, shared lovely stories together, had a bite to eat & drink and played some games. It was lovely for staff & residents to come together to celebrate ❤️

We have had lots of fun this afternoon keeping fit with Sarah from lets get active. Our residents have really enjoyed the fun exercises.

We have had a PJ day today & book club this morning for World book day 📖 this afternoon we have had great entertainment, welcoming singers on rollerskates. Everyone was joining in and really enjoyed the entertainment 🎤

This morning we enjoyed some quality one to one time doing something a few of the residents chose. This afternoon we have had Riley the therapy dog visit us again🐶💕

We have had our French themed day today 🇫🇷 we had a French Quiz this morning & a French menu for lunch 🇫🇷 then this afternoon we welcomed Primrose the cockapoo who came to visit us all, thank you Sarah & Heidi for bringing her in, our residents fell in love with her💕

A pamper this morning for some of the ladies & this afternoon we have had Gentlemen's club where we enjoyed snacks, a wine or blackcurrant, snacks, a few games of dominoes and some laughs reminiscing about pub stories that the Gents had 🍺
